Hosts Doug and Jamie embark on their sequel watching journey, so why not start with a sequel that isn't really linked to it's original. They are breaking down Son of the Mask, the 11 year follow-up to Jim Carrey's smash hit "The Mask". The only thing is common is the Mask and Ben Stein. They cover everything from Jamie Kennedy's voice, a dog trying to kill a baby and lots questionable parenting.

Last week we discussed Son of the Mask, so that means this week we have an interview with someone involved in that movie and man do we have a good one. Doug had the great opportunity to interview Actor/comedian/writer Jerry Minor. You might remember him from his time on Saturday Night Live or as the neighbor on 'Lucky Louie' or maybe the cult classic 'Beer League'. Jerry provided me with some great stories from his career and some behind the scenes talk from his time on 'Son of the Mask'.

Hosts Doug and Jamie are asking to bring in the righty. The "Wild Thing". Today is the 1st day of the 2019 baseball season and the only way to kick off the season is by discussing Major League 2. It's a classic for sure, but a lot of errors when it comes to how time works, Pedro is a pacifist, impostor Willie Mays Hayes, and so much more. Trust us we will break it down.

It's Master's time for all you golf fans, so of course, Hosts Doug and Jamie had to cover the not so classic follow up to the 80's classic "Caddyshack". They get into talking about how it was supposed to star Rodney Dangerfield, which would've been awesome, gophers air humping, Dan Aykroyd's voice, and so much more.

Last week we discussed Caddyshack 2, so that means this week we have an interview with someone involved in that movie and for the first time ever, it's not an actor. Doug chatted with special effects master, Tim Lawrence who has worked on so many amazing films over the years. His stories cover everything from Michael Jackson's Thriller video to Ghostbusters 2 and of course Caddyshack 2, where he was a puppeteer on the gopher.

We're celebrating Christmas in May here at The Good, The Bad, And The Sequel (We know it's not a real thing....play along) because we are discussing 1997's Home Alone 3. Of course you remember Kevin McAllister being left alone and the sticky/wet bandits try to get him, but you will soon find out Alex Pruitt is far superior home protector. Hosts Doug and Jamie will breakdown this John Hughes film that could also have been called "Rear Window: For Kids." This movie's got talking parrots, bad guys with guns, and some amazing traps.

Last week we discussed 1997's Home Alone 3, so this week means an interview with someone involved in the film, and we interviewed the amazingly talented actor Lenny von Dohlen. Lenny played bad guy Burton Jernigan in the film and was a pleasure to talk to. Over the years Lenny starred in the cult classic Electric Dreams, Tender Mercies, and is best known for his role as Harold Smith on Twin Peaks. He was a kind soul and I know you will enjoy our conversation.
