While some of the scenes in the first episode do drag a little on the exposition font, the series as a whole is absolutely brilliant. Takahashi Issei sounds different from the Anime-counterpart, but makes up for it in his realistic performance of how Kishibe Rohan would act if he was a real person. I absolutely adored every single scene, entranced by how Issei manages to make lines that would otherwise only work in a manga, work in real life. Nuances in facial expressions and movement really helps in bringing Rohan to life. The set ups and payoffs for the bizarre situations we find Rohan in are more rewarding than they ever were in the manga, in fact, a lot of the writing is more solid than it was in the manga or the OVA. This is not at all similar to the Diamond is Unbreakable live action, this captures that bizarre Jojo's feeling in live action far better than the previous live action ever did, and that in spite of stands never appearing. For people who haven't a clue of what I'm talking about, meaning people that haven't even heard of the source material, this is still very well worthwhile your watch. It's truly a shame that it's only 3 episodes, this is lightning in a bottle, a perfect live action adaptation.
