- With a duration of 1 hour 53 minutes, it doesn't feel like 1 hour 53 minutes. It felt shorter, much shorter. You will be intrigued with the story. Yes, the gist of the overall plot has been done before countless of times with buddy cop-themed movies but what impressed us is that there's an actual weight to the story. There's a strong substance along the way that just works with the story. It's apparent that Syafiq Yusof (director) made this film with heart. So many times we get to see sincere and heartfelt moments that Syafiq would include in the story and they all work. Something that viewers would get out of it. The film isn't pretentious and it doesn't try hard to do what it does. 👏🏻
- Was it action-packed enough? Well, not really. I felt that the first two had more action sequences compared to this one. This one is more story-centric than action-centric. It does feature some but if we can count, this has the least number of action scenes. Even the climax scene taking place at Bukit Bintang, KL where we thought would have a big action scene is minimized with heavy dialogues and substituted with an attempt of an intense scene (that is actually moderate). So don't go in thinking this is a non-stop melee combat and gun-fighting film. It's not. It's a balanced of both.
- What we do appreciate with this film is that the skills, the tactical movements and the choreographies are all done based on the official police training programme. We salute the efforts of them mirroring our national police force combats and skills.
- Shaheizy Sam & Zizan Razak's chemistry is off the charts! You know they're comfortable with each other. You know that they're having so much fun on the set. You know toxic relationship is non-existent. It feels they're really brothers even in real life. In PE3, we get to see that their friendship is tested to the limit which is a great element to wrap up a trilogy. All the bonding from the previous two are brought again here and continued with an opening that will surely make you laugh. If you enjoy brotherhood films, then go have a watch. You will appreciate it.
- We're surprised to see that Reza's character, played by Sharnaaz Ahmad was fleshed out and told very well. He has an interesting backstory which is linked to the main character and has a strong motive that deals with morality and justice. His motive is well-established to the point that we understand his characters & emotions. It makes you think that if you're in his shoes, would you have done the same thing? Because we're telling you, most of you would say 'yes' to it discreetly without admitting it. And Sharnaaz did a great job at portraying Reza. His portrayal might not land him an award, but Sharnaaz is great.
- There's this one particular scene involving a car chase that we thought could have been done a lot better. Syafiq Yusof (and Syamsul Yusof) has always cleared the roads/streets for the stunts of every of their movie, showing only cars and actors mainly involved in the car chase scene. But it's time to change the scenery. Make it more realistic. Have a bunch of extras driving regular cars as regular citizens, having to stop the car or go through everything, maybe even casualties as icing on the cake. Clearing the roads like there are no regular drivers takes us out of the experience. Like a gimmick that feels unrealistic.
- Syafiq Kyle, Farali Khan, Douglas Lim & Fauzi Nawawi all play as supporting characters helping the two leads fight over the the bad guy. We're okay with that. But it's difficult to root for these characters when we barely know about them nor they add any colors to the story. Yes, they had opportunities to shine as they were given time to breathe but there was nothing really interesting about them that we could say it warrants a spin-off.
- We have a problem with the tone. Opening scene was filled with jokes and humours followed by the whole of first act, like Polis Evo 1. Halfway through, it was a mixture of comedy, action and drama. And then the third act came along and it had a very serious tone, even dark maybe. We understood if they were trying to elevate the atmosphere that Reza brought with him as a demented, psychotic guy but... the tone left a bad taste in our mouth, we felt confused and dazed. It shifted drastically without a proper graph.
Verdict: Carefully structured, Polis Evo 3 showcases a compelling plot carried by two powerful leads with chemistry as strong as a covalent bond. While not as action-packed as the previous installments, the character-driven element adds an emotional weight to the story that makes the film worth watching. Overall, Polis Evo 3 is speeding miles better than Fast X.

Polis Evo 3 is one of the top action movies, in Malaysia. It was released in 2023 and stars Zizan Razak as Inspector Hasani with his partner Sharheizy Sam as Inspector Khai. As well film's villain, is played by actor Sharnaaz Ahmad as Redza Rashid.
The story revolves around two dedicated and credible policemen trying to solve a crime case. The case is about an ex- police officer, Redza, who wants to exact vengeance on the killer of his beloved wife, Farah. Will they be able to stop Redza before it's too late.
Kuala Terengganu and Kuala Lumpur are featured in this film. This film, have a best epic action scene, and Sharnaaz gives a, his role.
The lessons that I learned from this movie are a good team work and you should never take, revenge even if it's for your beloved one. Not only that, I learned that justice stunning and memorable performance in his role. Justice would prevail in the end. Good will overcome from bad thing.
Even if you don't enjoy this action films, I would highly recommend this movie because the storyline of the film really thrilling. I guarantee it's going to be worth it for every ringgit you spent on the movie ticket. You would never regret to watch this movie later.

Polis Evo 3 is about Inspector Sani and Inspector Khai have a mission that brings back the time of old time Inspector Khai together with Reza in Ops Sabrum a decade ago. The 'sins' that he made cause the revenge from Reza to target all police family. Reza questioning what is the actual duty of the police? To the family or to the job? This time, Inspector Sani and Inspector Khai team up with Inspector Dani, Inspector Julie and Inspector Dell and led by ACP Farouk. In their mission, Inspector Khai made some questionable decision that made a problem in the mission due to remembered the old times. Reza's character is my MVP due to his emotional feeling and threat. The score of the film feels great to hear. Even though the duration is shorter than the last film, I still didn't feel that long to be honest especially with the fight scenes. Kudos to the whole team!

The camera work is pretty basic but still neat and stunning. Editing and pacing are good. The premise is ok and the character buildup is good. The action is top notch. I heard all the stunts were done by locals, kudos! Malaysia finally has their own stunt team. My gripe is the dialogue could have been better and the actor who played the main bad guy should speak normally; dude, speak normally, you are not playing a super villain in a DC or Marvel movies.
My favorite character is Inspector Julie; I'm just weak around b@d@$$ b1t*h! I find short hair girl cop who carries and shoots automatic weapons is so sexy and Farali Khan looks so cute when she speaks. I love rough/tough girl yet still maintain her femininity.

The film's storyline is weak and quite simplistic. The action is unexciting, and the humor falls flat. As usual, films directed by Syafiq Yusof are tedious. The performances by the actors are decent. The chemistry is reminiscent of Police Evo 1 and 2. The cinematography and editing are also subpar. The villain's character is even comical and not satisfying at all. Sharnaz's acting is okay, but her antagonist role suffers from a weak character development. The idea behind the villain is uninteresting. Hopefully, if there's a Police Evo 4, a creative and skilled director, even if less known, can be chosen to direct the film.

Polis Evo 2 is way way much better and has better storyline than Polis Evo 3. Villain is not so evil and easily taken down hence no drama/tragic ending, very much anticipated and no twist at all. I feel like the movie depend so much on the publicity of the casts rather than a good storyline. At some point it become so cheesy and too draggy. I left the cinema feeling dissatisfied and dissappointed. Sorry Syafiq Yusof, you definitely have to step up and come up with something 'more' than this. We've seen many of this in hollywood movies and what we want is originality something like Pascal perhaps!!

It was an okay experience. However, I couldn't help but feel a little disappointed with the editing & cinematography. In comparison to its predecessors, Polis Evo 1 & 2, this installment falls short. I have immense respect for the outstanding performances by Zizan and Shaheizy, who displayed great showmanship once again. Their acting skills truly elevated the movie. However, I sincerely hope that if there is a "Polis Evo 4" in the future, the production team (especially the Camera work & editing) remains consistent with the ones behind Polis Evo 1 & especially my favorite -- Polis Evo 2. The editing in the first two films was exceptional (kudos to Nazim Shah), but unfortunately, it didn't live up to the same standard in Evo 3. The action scenes in #1 & #2 were more realistic & engaging while #3 felt less impactful. I wonder if budget constraints affected the overall quality of the film, particularly in terms of its artistic outcome.
My 5 out 10 rating is primarily due to the great showmanship displayed by Zizan, Shaheizy Sam, and Sharnaz. Their performances brought a spark to the movie and kept it engaging. However, the film fell short in terms of editing, cinematography, and action realism (this reminds me of KL Gangster, haha).
In conclusion, "Polis Evo 3" had its flaws but was still an enjoyable watch. I appreciate the efforts of the cast & hope to see improvements in the areas that were lacking in future installments.

This movie is very basic. This main evil is apparently never had a gang member who help him. It just him alone do the 'evil' job. Also, the intro is very out of context. This movie had a sex joke , so for all the kiddo out there. Be careful.
A little one but still obious.
The ending is like every Skop Production ending. Never change.
Back to main content, the audio is still same.
The plot twists is predictable. The hero is apparently unstoppable and never die or injured in this movie.
The police is the weakest character in this movie (I mean all Polis Evo movie are also same).
If they continue milking this "Polis Evo" franchise with the same plot and story. (Except Polis Evo 2) I regret to watch any local movie 😞.
My ranking
1. Polis Evo 2 2. Polis Evo 1 3. Polis Evo 3.
