One of Jacky St. James' best movies since she stormed on the scene with her BDSM lite "Emma Marx" features, "Obsessed" takes a fine screenplay and delivers a solid XXX film.
At a time when Adult Cinema's storytelling is at a low ebb, it's heartening to watch not just sex footage for two hours, but a compelling story, good enough to have generated a mainstream thriller (think: the genre of "Gone Girl") instead.
Victoria Voxxx stars as erotic novelist Gretchen Morely, whose new novel "Scorned" is a departure as a thriller, and her literary agent Gina (Kasey Warner) is under pressure to make it a success. The plot of the novel begins to mirror real-life, and several key plot twists organically take us on a ride to a logical but surprising conclusion.
Key to the movie's success is strong performances, in and out of the sack, by not only Warner and Voxxx but also another new player Scarlit Scandal.
