The entire movie is an immersive close-up journey into the emotional spiral roller coaster of a bad break up from a woman's point of view. The feminist sub-theme is masterfully treated, without cheesy lessons, and what is really happening unfolds like an onion being peeled delicately. Horror junkies will certainly have their those of jumps as well.
Gianotti's clearly has a master's eye and I can't wait to see his future works and what he can do with a bigger budget. Ailín Zaninovich is also someone to follow; it won't be long until we see her leading some big argentinian production. Every emotional moment and expression she makes is believable and touching in several unconventional ways. The partnership between lead and director is key to this kind of movie and could have gone horribly wrong if it wasn't for the real talent they both have.
I strongly recommend a night view with all lights off. It's worth it.
