Short horror movies, each movie is between 8 to 15 minutes maximum.
It's basically like a trailer, you will not know what is the real story of each movie.
But it's ok to watch and use your imagination.

Short bite-sized horror stories, it only consists of 8 eps with 7-15 mins per episode. Would've loved it a bit more if i knew a bit more about Korean urban legends. Only if the makers could have made an effort to give a a short explanation at the beginning of each episode (as did episode 8), would definitely clarify the plot for the wider audience. It's well done with solid CGI and gory fun. It's heavy on atmosphere and light on explaining itself. For those looking for fast and cheap thrills, this will be a feast. But for arthouse horror fans this might be a disappointing watch. The series is rich in style and atmosphere it has the look and feel of an high budget horror, yet unlike many of those kind that offered style over substance, it has an eerie story to support the murky atmosphere that will draw you in. Add this to your watchlist as a cure for a lazy weekend.
An anthology of eight short (10 minute-ish) supernatural Korean horror flicks, which is right up my alley. Netflix presented this as eight episodes, but it's not laid out like a television series-- really, it's just an anthology horror movie, divided into parts. No connection between stories, no interstitial.
The stories themselves are low on ambience, low on mood building, big instead on, "Here's a ghost, watch it kill somebody." There's plenty of blood and some moderately disturbing violence. Heavy on special effects, which are dodgy at times. In my opinion, the stories improve as they go, with my favorite being the sixth, "Dimension."
Nothing in the way of ambiguity, other than the details elided to fit into the short blocks of running time. For me, that's a minus, but I'm sure there are some for whom it's a plus. Appropriate popcorn fare as long as you don't expect much from it.

Its like, you just think what kind of cliche asian horror you ever know, create some random situation, put the ghost or whatsoever at the ending. You just create a random horror. Its like 5 minute by the way, what you gonna do?
The episodes are short around 6 to 7 minutes each. Each of them have different stories.
Good for those just looking for scary short stories and nothing more meaningful plot.

I remember growing up watching asian horror movies , tales of terror from Tokyo vol 1-3, tales of terror, tales of the unusual, any kind of festival or short movie that I could found on the not very legal side of the internet, etc etc , but it seems that those days are over . Did Asian culture already lost their original essence? Did we got more tolerant and lose all sympathy? Or probably they always made bad horror movies but we didn't see it.
Whatever it is the reason " they don't make it like that anymore" I guess I'll stick to my old DVDs that I used to burn back in the old days from 2006 when we could get decent horror movies from Asia, which btw I have seen a thousand times over the pass of 10+ years , hope we could get something like that someday.

Goedam: South-Korean anthology horror series based on urban legends. Eight episodes ranging from 7 to 15 minutes in duration. Some of the episodes are interconnected. Actually they all might be in a way. It's important to note that they don't occur in chronological order. You get vengeful ghosts (surprise!), a Shaman killing children to gain their spirit power, a Vlogger beset by a demon, spider like women with long straggly hair who look as if they've just emerged from a well or a tv screen, even inter-dimensional travel via a lift. Some really disturbing scenes, this is not for squeamish or faint of heart. Directed by Hong Won-ki and written by Lee Gang-hyeon. On Netflix. 7/10.
Almost like watching the ABC's of death but shorter and less interesting. Some stories are cool, some are just the usual and a few bizzare ones that need more explaining. My favorite was the dimensional elevator one. Would have made cool movie I think.
Goedam in English is urban ghost stories and this series is an anthology of horror stories each episode being short and showcases different horror styles. I found some of them scarier then others and some quite gruesome but as they were all short it did not matter as you were soon into the next episode and style. Some of the legends are quite dark and the monsters even in the episodes I was less impressed with are memorable. An interesting point I have read is that if you watch them in reverse order they are connected, although to be fair I am not sure if this is just another urban legend. Overall an ok watch for a lightweight horror fan like me.

It is a cheaply written compilation of short horror movies. Does not scare at all because we already know what is gonna happen. Also fx makeup is not doing any justice, it too is very cheap. I couldnt watch past 3 episodes

Each episode leaves the viewer with an unknown giant on his head that denotes several questions: What's the reason for these spectra to pursue our characters? Even urban legends have one.
There are a ton of frustrated scares that ruin the episodes. The writers try to scare you with exaggerated blood and faces, but that's not how terror works.
There's no life in the characters either, they're just punching bags for ghosts to scare. This anthology doesn't work as a horror and if you're looking for something that scares you right away, this may not exceed your expectations.

An anthology of shorts that tell various ghost stories in little 10 minute episodes.
The atmosphere is very creepy as I've noticed a lot of Asain horror films and shows have.
Some stories are better than others but that's what you get with everything. Give it a watch.

The episodes are fairly low budget but have good CGI. Terrible writing dooms the show. Every episode feels incomplete and leaves the viewer hanging. For example- there is a 5 minute clip of someone walking into an empty class room, grabbing notebooks, getting chased by a ghost, and running in an infinite staircase loop before getting caught. That is literally the entire episode.
Skip it.
Skip it.
5 minute 'horror' scenarios with very predictable plot and super cliche 'monsters'
the best part of each episode was that it was only 5 minutes long.

If you don't like anthologies, you probably won't like the show. It is well produced, well acted and directed. The episodes are genuinely scary.
Recommended for k-horror fans, horror fans, and anthology fans.

I thought this would be an interesting horror series from Korea but when i tuned in...i was shocked.
Each episode is literally shorter than a youtube video (average 7-8 mins) and all of them are just random people experiencing ghosts. No story nothing, just random short ghost experience.
Now the question arises, who should watch this? It has some gore in it so it's definitely not for kids otherwise i would have said this series is for those parents who just want to terrify their naughty kids who don't go to bed early . I would say mostly it's a waste of time but still if you want to enjoy some random ghosts at night before sleeping, then you might want to consider this series and you may be quite entertained or disappointed. It's lesser than an hour if you pluck out the end credits
Just remember, as i said , none of the episodes have any sense whatsoever and it's just random ghosts out of nowhere.
Ep1 and ep 5 are connected still don't have any story. It's just a continuation from what happened in ep1. If i really had to like a few of these episodes then ep 2, 5 were pretty short interesting experiences. Ep 6 has probably the most unique looking ghost i have ever seen having the potential to either make you go lol or scare the S out of you. Ep 8 is the longest one , probably my fav (14 mins long) and is linked to ep 7.
I don't know what Netflix thought before putting this on their platform. It literally is a show to be strictly on TV. 4 stars only for some good ghost experiences .

Well, it was super short south Korean mini series and I finished all of them in an hour. Actually I liked the stories but no finished very well. For every episode they can make a movie, because some stories were really interesting. Not scary, nothing special too much because it looks really low cost.

It could be really better if you watch backwards from ep 8 to 1. There are some hints, few, not enough to make sense. That is it, look like student work not finished yet...

Okay, the trailer looks great. I think the stories & special effects are also good. The show has a lot of potential to develop characters and each story into something like 45 or 50 min episode. Each episode is only 5-6 min long and you barely know what the hell was going on and boom, this and that person dies and that's it. Lol.
I enjoyed the concept of short 7-10 minute stories, and i'd love to see more. I can see why many people didn't like it but i thought it was more interesting and left me thinking about the stories more. Would a series that covers one scary story at a time be nice? Yes it would but things like American Horror Story exist. It's a creative concept that i haven't seen much of before in the scary/horror community. When you have a spare 15 minutes it's great to just put it on and watch before you go out or go to sleep. That's a good thing about the short episodes, they are easier to finish if you have a busy schedule. The stories are very creative too, i enjoyed them a lot. I definitely recommend to people who like short horror stories (especially creative ones), you will enjoy this!!
Most of these end up as a gore fest, with innocents getting torn up or so. If you like that sort of thing, go for it.
To make films for the sole purpose of displaying people being dismembered or torn into disgusting and blood and meat, not sure how wonderful that is. What does it say about our world, when thrills can be gained by some who ingest this type of thing?
Will we ever mature as a species beyond the lust for gladiators and lions in the Roman arena?
Why do some people like this stuff?
There is some character development, though the predictable outcomes are always there, and each film has the same tone.
Get scared then die.

This is a horror anthology series which means each episode is standalone. Apart from the last episode, each of them runs for less than 10 minutes. I think a good story could be told in 10 minutes but in this series, they didn't bother to do one thing - that is to give the background information and the reasons behind the haunting.
I didn't understand why they were killed, why the those things were angry at humans. There were times which humans broke the rules hence bringing the trouble upon themselves.
The acting was okay, but because it is a horror movie, the character's actions sometimes made me question.
All in all, it was okay, but no that okay.
