Premiering over a whole year after Upside-Down Magic (2020), this is the longest wait to date for the arrival of the next Disney Channel Original Movie.
This is the 3rd Disney Channel Original Movie to star Anna Cathcart. Her previous 2 had been Descendants 2 (2017) and Descendants 3 (2019) where she played Dizzy Tremaine.
