Fred Williamson is a fairly decent actor with a lot of solid credits to his name. What was he thinking here? This very well could be the worst movie ever made, and that includes amateur movies made by kids with $13 in lunch money.

I can hardly imagine how much effort was actually out into this script, production, props, acting or anything else.
I'm still trying to wrap my head around the fact that a submarine has brick walls and wooden door frames.
Or that the entire cast of the Atlantis people are wearing modern era clothes, have modern electronics, furnishings and lighting systems - and also speak fluent English - as I was watching the English version.
I'm sure that it would be just as much fun to watch any other language version - because this is certainly entertaining in aspects where it shouldn't be.
However - as bad as it is...and it is bad...it's still more entertaining than most movies I've seen in the past 2 years.
It's not the worst of the bunch.
Yes, it's outrageously cheap - but it's Asylum Production, so you know it's cheap.
Crazy as it is...I actually liked it.
Just not enough to rate it more than I did.
Someday i hope to buy a submarine made of cement, wood and brick.
Do you know where I can find one?

Initially I found the cover for the 2021 movie "Devil's Triangle" to be sort of interesting. Sure, the thing with the underground citadel was a bit out there, but there was some appeal to the movie's cover. And with it being a movie that I hadn't already seen, of course I opted to watch this movie from director Brendan Petrizzo.
But this movie was tough to sit through. The storyline written by Brendan Haley and Joe Roche was just quite far from what is considered enjoyable and entertaining to me. So I found it very difficult to submerge myself, pardon the pun, into the movie and storyline. And it was just difficult to take the whole Atlantis concept seriously.
Visually then "Devil's Triangle" was a mixed experience. Some of the CGI were actually good, while others were a bit dubious.
The only cast member that I was familiar with here was Fred Williamson. But the cast did put on fair enough performances in "Devil's Triangle". Just a shame that they had next to nothing to work with in terms of a proper script and storyline.
I found "Devil's Triangle" to be a swing and a miss, and it certainly is not a movie I would recommend you waste your time, money or effort on.
My rating of "Devil's Triangle" lands on a three out of ten stars.

I'm dumbfounded about how bad this "thing" is. So my review has to be at least 150 characters long for it to be accepted. I can accept that because my typing 150 characters would take more time and thought than this "thing" would have ever taken.
This is your run of the mill lower than asylum tier z movie madness. Rocketjump made a series with Luke Skywalker as the narrator but started off making VGHS which has higher production values than this 2000 dollar movie. I think average review critics who use skits or witty banter won't even bother making fun of this movie because the cost of their time and background is probably higher budget than this entire film.

"Devil's Triangle" is an Action - Sci-Fi movie in which we watch a group of people trying to understand what happened after their plane crashed in the Bermuda Triangle. Soon they realize that they arrived in the lost city of Atlantis.
Despite that, I did not have high expectations from this movie I was disappointed because I wasted my time. The plot was simple but it did not make any sense since it combined climate change, nuclear weapons, Atlantis, Bermuda Triangle and many more. The direction which was made by Brendan Petrizzo was not good and he did not do his best with the low budget he had. All in all, I have to say that "Devil's Triangle" is not a good movie and I do not recommend anyone to watch it because I do not want anyone else to lose their time.

Bad acting, bad props, bad script, bad directing, bad story.
Trying hard to think if anything was good about this movie...maybe the intro-music.
This is just a b-movie plain and simple.

People have to understand that it isn't a masterpiece made by hollywood. Its just a low budget sci-fi movie, and you dont have to want to watch amazing special effects or a great production here.
Despite its flaws, "Devil's Triangle" isn't boring and it kept me amused. I think it will probably play better if you watch at home with friends and beers.
The cast is not too bad. I really like Veronica Issa's movies, and I enjoyed her performance, acting as the villain in this film.
I don't agree with the "1 star" ratings given by some viewers (the average rating at the time I make this comment is 2,3, and I really hope it increases, because it doesn't match the quality of the film).
I recommend!
9/10 stars.

I'm trying to figure out which massive-budget movie The Asylum is parodying in Devil's Triangle, probably for $US10,000 to 15,000...
The usual C-grade actors, the cheapest possible CGI and yet another ROFL script.
To all of the 1/10 reviewers (ie: "Worst stinker I have seen in my life!" 1/10), you obviously haven't seen other Asylum movies like Atlantic Rim versus Pacific Rim, etc, and there are more like "Super Tanker" or "Exploding Sun"...
I have about 13-15 of these deliberately cheesy rip-offs from Asylum and its companion producers and when bored, I'll go and put one on just for the laughs.
Just bought this movie very cheaply, along with "Airliner Sky Battle" and "Collision Earth (Game Over)". These are all distributed by Vendetta Films for Asylum and from memory, a few other of the B or C Grade movie producers.
I mean, come on guys, if the cinema posters are like this one, or the artwork on DVD/BluRays, it should give you a pretty good clue as to the type of film being presented.
If you still don't like a movie after the first 15-20 minutes, just leave or take it out of the DVD player - don't stay to the end and then whinge about how bad it was to "have to" sit through it and then post an excoriating review.
Chalk it up to experience and just move on with your lives - those of us who are into Asylum or other Vendetta movies will carry on enjoying them and discussing them between ourselves.
Happy days to all and enjoy your own tastes in movies :-)

By far the worst movie I've ever watched in my life
If you want to waste your time, and I mean waste it to the point that there is not a single net benefit, this is your movie.
With unoriginal scenes, poor acting skills, and just a terrible plot- this movie has managed to make amazed at just how AWFUL a movie can be.
One moron gave this garbage movie 10 stars!!!
Really? 10 Stars? So it's like, one of the best movies ever made? Is that what you are saying? Unbelievable.

Right from the start, this movie proves that the makers wasted all of their budget. Luckily , I think that the budget was only about £17.25. Sci-fi You-tubers create better cgi on their home computers. School Christmas nativity plays have superior acting to the "acting" in this. It amazes me that movies as awful as this, still get made.
I recorded this movie as I like to fast forward the ad breaks. I found myself actually watching the ads as the acting and production values, was better than in the movie. You may wonder why I stuck with it. I do not think it fair to critique a movie if. I have not given it a chance to redeem itself. It didn't. Total garbage, from start to finish.

This is what happens when combine Aquaman and Black Panther together with a $5 budget. It's just barely watchable. I wouldn't go out of your way to watch it but if you stumble across it and wanna have something on in the background while cleaning.
Inconsistent characterization makes this hard to watch.
And I know money is an issue for Asylum, but how could you pick the single actor who could not convincingly sit on the shaking airplane as a lead role? That was unfortunate.
On the plus side, the movie is realy beautiful, nothing of the feeling sitting in a small greenscreen room like Empire of the Sharks.

But went downhill fast. The Hydra is pretty cool but after they arrive at the island it's just soap opera vibes. Island soldiers etc was dumb. More Hydra less bad acting. Peace.

Atlantis. Sharks. A Mean Ass Hydra with three heads. What could possibly go wrong with this movie?
Turns out, just about everything.
There are so, so many failures of filmmaking craft in this hot mess (starting of course with the writing and directing), but I have to give top (bottom?) honors to the young and inexperienced actors in this film who own the poorly written dialogue like a self-taught troupe of 6th grade thespians.
FYI, I 100% supported our members of SAG during their recent strike (and I still do), though the actors' performances in this film do give me a much better understanding of why Hollywood studios would want AI to replace them in the first place.

Oh, where is Jack Donnelly when you need him? This nonsense sees a group of biologists stranded after their plane crashes in the infamous Bermuda Triangle. Barely have they got their bearings when they are seized by some spear carrying warriors and taken deep under the water to the lost city of Atlantis. There, they meet the supremacy that is "Kimg Nereus" (Myrom Kingery) who, armed with his trident straight from FAO Schwartz offers them his friendship. It's soon clear to "Vera" (Morgan Bradley) et al that this welcome is but a façade and there is a much more malevolent plan in place to rid the oceans of the pestilence that is mankind. Can they thwart that plan? There's a clue as to what we are in for right at the start when the passengers on their doomed plane have to wriggle and bob about to simulate the effects of the aircraft caught in a storm - it's all pretty risible. Then we have the clunky environmental message that's predicated on the Atlantians having collected so much junk abandoned by humanity that they feel they have no choice but to act before the planet faces an existential crisis. All true enough, but presented in such a cack-handed and cinematographically amateurish fashion as to make you cringe a bit. It's overwritten and the hammy efforts from Kingery and Anthony Preston's "Erastos" just make you want to laugh. Despite it's laudable intentions, the acting is woeful and this is little better than student stuff for the Sci-Fi channel at 3am. Sorry.

Hmm, where to begin... 'The Devil's Triangle' is about a passenger plane that gets shot down over the Bermuda Triangle and ends up in Atlantis, only to find that those who dwell below sea levels have sinister plans for us 'land dwellers.'
Not an awful plot for a run-of-the-mill sci-fi TV show, but it's a - relatively - short film which never really lives up to its lofty ideals. For a start, you have the cast. There are no big name actors and, although some are okay (at best!), it seems that most of the Atlantis residents are some of the worst actors available. I feel bad for saying that, as, given a better script, they may be okay on screen. However, the script - especially for the bad guys - is just terrible and full of cliches - so much so it's like they actually speak fluent 'bad guy.'
The special effects are random action scenes which look quite good - for a Playstation 4 cut-scene. But they never really have any effect on the story, as they're mainly flashbacks. Put simply, there are no real special effects involving the characters and the sets look like they're from a daytime soap with blue lighting.
I could have put up all that, but the bad guys are just too dumb to be taken seriously. They show potential enemies round their facility and teach them how two effectively destroy their empire at the touch of a button (and then leave all major control panels completely unguarded for the humans to do just that!).
Overall, it hasn't really got that much going for it. It tries, but it doesn't have the budget or script to make it worth your time.

This movie is a blast and exactly what you want it to be. You'll have a great time from beginning to end.
It's not Star Wars or an Oscar winner.... But it's more fun than anything I've seen lately 😂
