This is trash!!!!!!!!! the leads acting is AWEFUL! I mean they are all bad but she's a whole different level of bad acting, and I've watched zombie strippers. I can promise I will never watch another movie with her in it, and I will do my best to forget this one. How TF they got tom Sizemore and Anthony Jensen in this ill never know. Maybe Blackmail or a kidnapped family member.

Why did I watch this! Why was it released! A movie made to gain a tax right-off?
This is isn't even a b-movie.
The nonsense starts right away with bad framing, shaky cam where it is not necessary, bad close ups and weird color temperature. Right I away, I knew what I was in for, incompetent camera man, with an incompetent director. That the story would suck, you'll notice 5 minutes in.
Ridiculous waste of time. Little to no plot. Terrible acting. Nothing exiting about the movie at all. What was the purpose of this nonsense??

When I saw this title, I immediately thought of The Asylum. And as luck would have it, as I sat down to watch "Monster Hunters", my suspicion held true, as this was indeed another mockbuster from The Asylum, and this time on the upcoming "Monster Hunter" movie based on the game.
But still, I sat down to watch "Monster Hunters", knowing well enough that chances were like 90% of this being yet another dubious movie from The Asylum. But every now and again they do put out something that is worthwhile watching. "Monster Hunters" just wasn't in that last 10%, truth be told.
First of all, the title alone made little sense given the movie's plot and storyline. But hey, whatever lures in the audience and gets those not well-traversed in the movie business to spend their money on what they might think be just that blockbuster movie and instead ending up with a questionable mockbuster.
The storyline in "Monster Hunters" was actually pretty straight forward, but it was at the same time also a very simplistic storyline with many plot holes and things that just didn't make sense. For example, why would only a handful of people get shipped out to investigate and contain a downed alien spacecraft and capture any potential aliens? It just made no sense that the government wouldn't lock down the entire area and be swarming with military and specialists. But I guess The Asylum didn't have the budget for such endeavors.
The cast list was adequate, although the only familiar face was Tom Sizemore, and let's just face it, he is not exactly the most outstanding of Hollywood performers. However, it should be said that the actors and actresses actually managed to do well enough with the storyline and characters, despite of the restrictions imposed by the script.
"Monster Hunters" is a movie with aliens and alien technology, so of course having proper CGI and special effects is a must for such a movie. Well, let's just say that the CGI was not overly great, and was reminiscent of something you'd see in a mid-1990s computer game.
I managed to sit through the entire ordeal, though I was less than mildly entertained. My rating of director Brendan Petrizzo and writer Jeremy M. Inman's movie lands on a generous three out of ten stars. It wasn't a particularly great or memorable movie, but there are far worse sci-fi movies out there.

As others have said this movie was not what I set out to watch. I set out to watch monster hunter. Didnt realize I picked the one with an extra S. With that being said I'll give it a 2 star because I was got. All and all when I first saw the alien ship crash I though this maybe good. Then it gets worst from there. The alien feels goofy. The camera shots feel very armature. Like really felt like they were wearing helmet cams to shoot the movie. I did like the premise of the movie, but could definetly tell it was a liw budget sleazy style film. The actors didnt even feel connected. I mean I believe Shephard was suppose to be the main guy but in the end Bob ends up stealing the show

This movie is fantastic!! It's Tom Sizemore like you've never seen him before. He gives an Oscar worthy performance. The special effects budget was in the hundreds of millions and it shows. The monsters are truly terrifying to behold. The plot is one of the best screenplays I've ever witnessed and the acting is first rate. Do yourself a favor and make sure you see this movie. It will change your life. Finally a movie that shows the whole truth about the aliens visiting our planet. You won't believe your eyes and you won't view the world the same way ever again.
I don't know how something like this even made it to production. Seriously bad movie, do NOT recommend

I can forgive a studio for producing a terrible movie. I can forgive a low budget for casting terrible actors. I can't forgive writers trying to write about something they know nothing about and trying to pass it off as fact or common knowledge.
I was in the army. Everything these army brats did was completely wrong, not protocol, or just made up. When the group went to the alien site and put their cloth, covid masks on, to protect themselves from any environmental hazards, I checked mentally checked out. Use this movie to fall asleep to, or as background noise as you play a mobile game or so the dog doesn't feel lonely.

Someone paid a lunatic to make this thing. Couldn't watch past 7 minutes. Beside bad acting, bad writing, bad cinematography, you know what gives it away that director is neither interested not capable of making this movie is that monster which 3D object do not cast any shadow, which doesn't require any money or talent just a little attention.

How about an original idea that isn't a knock off. How about spending that money on Scripts and writers and decent acting. Did you get the point? Original ideas. Even Tom Sizemore looks pretty much bored. I guess he needed a paycheck. Time to tap into a new pool of scripts. Hey I can even write one.

It is a cheaply made, badly acted, alien encounter movie.
I can only assume Tom Sizemore needed the money.
You will not miss anything if you don't watch it.

Seems ok to me. My housemate begged me to review this movie to try to get the average rating up to 2.2 at least. I guess this film is really good to some people. 2.2 seems a fair score to me.

So, I've watched a whole 18 minutes of this "film" & that's 17.5 minutes too much! This sorry mess has absolutely NO redeeming qualities. Sometimes a *bad' film can be great fun & really entertaining: that's not applicable here. It's tear out your eyeballs, reach for the ear plugs bad. Everything from the camera work, to the soundtrack, to the editing so sub par.
As for the acting! I've seen primary school nativity plays that look like Citizen Kane compared to the standard on show here. I sincerely hope that the actors were paid out of profits accrued by the film. It would serve them right!
If you choose to ignore this warning then on your own head be it!

The Asylum at its worst again. Stealing ideas and rushing production to get ahead of the real Monster Hunter movie. Horrible script, horrible acting. The Asylum needs to just go away.

This movie is a disaster. Acting is bad, the dialogs look like written by my 5 year old. Probably the worst 90 minnutes that I have wasted in my life...

This movie worth your time if it's 2 a.m & your phone's battery is 20%, so you plugged your phone in charger & got nothing to do. Then you could waste your 20-30 mint max to watch this Oscar-Worthy-Movie.
