Specialist Fairchild, while talking to Bob on the van, takes off her face mask keeping it hanged to her ear. When the camera point of view change from outside to inside the van, the face mask is gone. While the conversation between the two of them keeps going the face mask hanged to her ear pops out once again and than disappears another three times. If the view is from the outside of the van the face mask appears, if the view is inside the van the face mask is gone.

When reporting the crash, Dale says "at 0600 a vessel of unknown origin has crash landed in 40 degrees north, 115 west". Such accuracy of geographic coordinates would cover thousands of square kilometers in the NE Nevada and would be nowhere close to what is needed to identify where the crash site is.

At 39.00 minutes behind the invisible alien is the front of the crashed spaceship in Pitch Black. The mock spaceship can be seen in the Australian town of Coober Pedy.
