Salt in Your Lap

Salt in Your Lap premiered in November of 2015 in the form of an experimental, in-progress cut accompanied by a live score by the band Chandeliers at an event called Chicagoland Shorts: Expanded Cinema. The two-night event was a co-production of CIMMFest and Full Spectrum features, both based in Chicago. The screening at the Expanded Cinema event was the only time a version of the film has been shown and the final cut was never completed due to story problems caused by a number of issues during the original production including a producer falling ill, equipment malfunction, an actor breaking their arm just before filming and a flood.
