well, i saw this on lovefilm so i thought i'd check it out. oh dear. the main guy was terrible!! the blonde girl who played his girlfriend was a joke and looked like they just got someone random girl out of the local pub, and the whole thing didn't make much sense. written in on hour or made up on the spot would be how i'd describe it. very little redeemable qualities. the big guy who comes to the door is good, the other big guy who sells the car is scary and looks like he can actually act. the guy with the long hair is just awkward and looks nervous all the time, although the guy who plays his mate is good and looks like he can actually act judging by his timing and reactions etc. the bald guy is OK but not sure why he's even in it! one or two good performances but largely poor. the directing is laughable! the script is worse.

STAR RATING: ***** Saturday Night **** Friday Night *** Friday Morning ** Sunday Night * Monday Morning
I've just had the misfortune to suffer through just over thirty minutes of this abomination that has no business calling itself a movie with 'actors' who should be sued for breach of the Trade Descriptions Act for trying to pass themselves off as such things. The over-riding feeling is a sense of 'what the hell was that garbage???' It's like a bunch of people with nothing better to do got a camcorder and some recycled old film clips and thought 'lets make a movie.' Low budget doesn't begin to describe it. And the plot felt completely none existent, just some drivel about someone inventing a new designer drug and running into some trouble getting it about. This should have been snuck out like the wretch it is, and people charged no more than £1 to buy it from the bargain bin at Morrison's. Seriously, nothing can prepare you for how unbelievably terrible this 'film' is. ABSOLUTELY NO STARS

STAGGER Dark Gritty Double Crossing Brit Gangster flick at it's low budget best seen many a film with 100 times this films budget that cant touch this classy flick not since Lock Stock have we seen this in a British Gangster flick with a odd twist thrown in the mix just for good measure!.There is a follow up movie planned hope the next film has this live feel to it very odd seeing a movie shot as if we are in a live war zone putting the viewer in the middle of the action.Very good first film from this Director. It is rumoured to have had no cast meetings or rehearses and the cast met each other on the first day of filming. There's an interview with Director Paul.T.T.Easter saying the budget would have got you a good used ford or put as he said a old banger run about.
Gangsters Guns Girls Gore
Gangsters Guns Girls Gore well all the main elements are here for the good old British gangster yarn. But never before have we seen a film which offers so much for so little. Truly a stunning film both visually and inspirational from a film makers point of view. Fresh ideas fresh new talented cast to make this gangster film shine so much more than many a tired jaded gangster film that are out on release on this already crowded genera. So street real that the film really did hit home realistic and cold ruthless street thugs. A insight to this dark murky world awesomely cast . Actors played this so well it,s gonna be in my head for some time

I really liked this movie but there were quite a lot of moments where I felt distant from the characters and the motivation that they were going for!
Cool action sequences tho. 6/10

A Brit Gangster film with some screen chemistry from Jake and Emma all be it cold contempt a love hate thing between them . Paul TT Easter ( Jake ) very strong scenes playing a unlikable unpredictable chap played with conviction from a new actor director and having to watch over others as director not a easy job even for a trained experienced actor, Holly McKeon ( Emma ) new face to watch out for. Mark Margason ( Stud ) looked comfortable on screen. James Fisher ( Mad Larry ) portrayed as a nasty lender nicely done one who you wont want to owe. Kevin Wilkinson ( Knight ) Jim Ford ( Brick ) looked and talked the slang. A top British gangster film with a twist made on a shoestring

New film makers on the block making films like this first time round is outstanding good film good story-line great cast all new actors. It shows just how much all the big stars and $10000.000 US films are overpriced and overpaid when a small group of Independent film makers write produce shoot and release a full feature film in the UK with no official funding not only that but it.s a fast paced action film . ( Far surpasses many higher budget gangster films with some nifty blood and gore and some cool stunts ) i for one have never seen a film made so well on this sort of budget in the UK. We will be seeing more from the film makers here in the near future
Gritty says everything but no punches are pulled in this dark Brit Gangster film.Films like this only come out every 10 years or so with realistic street cool performances from young fresh talent working on a small budget the film delivers in heaps with some blow you away scenes mixed with a awesome soundtrack cool car stunts i wonder how ever the guys behind it ever pulled it off. First timer Paul TT Easter ( JAKE STAG ) Excellent performance both dark and a very unbalanced a character as ever seen on screen. Dark and clearly able to dish out evil and torture on those who step on his turf never knowing what or where his complex persona with almost split personality will outburst into rage next or who he will dish it out to next at times very unsettling to watch. Kevin Wilkinson ( KNIGHT ) was excellent as a London Gangster trying to gain control over Stagger for the bigger London Scene. Also on top form ex Boxer Earl Ling ( Rat Shat ) as a used car sales man with some very nasty habits Holly McKeon was very good as ( Emma ) Jakes long time love interest i see faults with this film but it is one of the best indie gangster films to come out of the UK in many years. Read that Shane Meadows was a big influence on the director ( Paul TT Easter )and this can be seen in the clean flowing scenes which are almost like drama-doc in the way it,s shot with uncanny realism.
British Madmax film Been waiting since 1981 and the 2nd installment of the Madmax films for a edgy road movie it is fair to say that this movie is fast paced and unhinged and often you feel as if you are in a mind trip with the oddball characters. Awesome car stunts excellent POM humor funny to see this sort of film made outside of Australia it would have fitted right if filming had been done on location at Broken Hill. This is surly a British Tarantino in the making a few beers kick back and enjoy the trip it's a proper lads movie with plenty of guns girls gangster geezers. If you like cars British low budget films this film has your number all over it be sure not to miss this ride.

EXCELLENT EFFORT AND PACKED WITH GORE & ACTION ALL FROM A FIRST TIME DIRECTOR ACTOR FILM MAKER WITH LITTLE MONEY. Staggering effects bit shocking and gory all a bit course and rough round the edges but the film delivers horror gore in which i can only call a oddball film . Full of twisted gore stunts and all on a micro budget. If you want a weekend surprise rent this film for the weekend just sat back and really enjoy the film. It,s got a good looking leading man action drama fast cars good music and a very unusual story what more can any one ask from a micro budget film watch this space i,m sure we will see more from this fresh new film maker.
