The music on this show is so wierd, a kind of jaunty classical, and it's so loud that it overwhelms the whole show, including making it difficult to hear speech.

Peter Gordon and Jordan are boring, offer no insight, no descriptive talent. Everything "tastes great, good job" ugh. They are wooden, and actually look uncomfortable being on screen. Jordan acts as if the whole world is watching her and is a rabbit in the headlights. Peter has nothing to say. Its so disappointing.

I love the contestants who manage to be perky, natural and excited to be there. They are the only reason to watch this show.

The hosts are beyond cringe and there is too much focus on diversity. It would be nice to see great bakers for a change. Some aren't bad, some shouldn't be there.

I LOVE all versions of this show but this season the Kiwi Bake Off judges are a SNOOZE FEST!!!! They are probably really good at baking but being on TV....nope. The male judge is only slightly better in personality than the female judge and even the crazy eye makeup can't disguise her droll personality. The presenters are better at least they are entertaining and trying to do what they can with the unfunny material the writers are giving them. Thank goodness for the eclectic and diverse contestants and the delicious looking baked goods or I might have to skip this season entirely! New judges please!

I have only seen the 2019 which is the only available on streaming in Australia.

I find the hosts a bit cringe they seem like they need to try too hard and feel a bit annoying and unnatural.

The judges seem almost robotic and offer so little insight.

The contestants however are the true stars of course, beautiful group of people, fun to watch, love the kiwi people! I would watch the this group of people for an extra season or two if I could.

There used to be a time when bake off shows were about finding the best bakers. Then the Great British Bake Off decided that being woke was more important than being a good baker so they chose their bakers by a diversity checklist rather than skills and the show suffered accordingly. The Great Kiwi Bake Off keeps true to the original concept and manages to come up with a diverse group of contestants that actually have some skills. Some better presenters and it would be perfect but it's still enjoyable to watch.

Devanoy keeps touching her hair in every eposde should have her hair up. And doesnt wash her hands. Needs people on there who have have short hair or put up. Its very annoying when she keeps touching her hair. People need to wash there hands on there while handling food. No one washes there hands. Should be made to wear hair nets. And teach there kids to wash there hands everytime they handle food. Hows is this teaching kids. The two host on there is a show off. Dont get me wrong i like the programme having people touching there hair while on a cooking show where everyone is watch is not good.

I would love to rate this more but these judges are insufferable. In particular Jordan Rondel has the personality of a mixing bowl. What were the producers thinking getting her on a show like this!? I've seen dining chairs with more personality. Also wtf is she wearing!? She just stares into space for most of the episodes. I don't think there is much going on upstairs.

Honestly if they bring her back for the next season they deserve low ratings. At least with the UK one the judges have a personality.

The contestants really make the show. Some really great bakers on this season. Please replace the judges next time around.

I did not find this show until Season 3. But I found the judges and host to be entertaining! However season 4 is a total flop! The new woman judge is just bad! In episode 1she seemed to think she was a 1940's French Flasher right to black plastic mac raincoat! On a later episode she dressed like a biker chick and was showing off her tattoo arms! The male judge is about as exciting to watch and listed to dishwater! Then there is new male host who beyond awful to watch and listen to! If people found the previous hosts cringe worthy this current set are beyond creepie! Episode 4 has aired and there are 5 more episodes to go, and I am not sure I will make it to the end as the show is that bad and just dull this season! Even the set of bakers in this season are lack luster. It looks like talent was not a qualification this year as why they were picked. But only because they ticked off some diversity box the show producers wanted fill! As I stated 5 episode to go and they were to show episode 5 and send all but two bakers home you would not even notice and think it was normal!

I watch Great (insert country) Bake Offs from around the world and the hosts on the Kiwi show are appalling, even worse than the Australian hosts and I didn't think that was a low mark anyone could fall below!

The Kiwi Bake Off now has 2 dull judges too. Jordan and Peter (I think). Both talk as if they are bored senseless. They hardly ever smile. They aren't slightly fun, interesting or inspiring.

As with all Bake Offs, this show is entirely enjoyable and watchable when the focus is on the contestants and the cooking.

But these seriously unfunny hosts and judges leave me no choice but to rate the show 2/10.
