Storyline not related with Makmum 1. Good acting. Good scary village environment. Good storyline. Quite predictable and typical jump scare but still watchable. Good movie for horror fans. Enjoyable!

Didn't watch the first Makmum so I dunno whether it is related or not. I guess you can watch this one without watching the former because from my viewing, I can understand and there is no flashback involved whatsoever. Is it spooky, it is just typical and quite cliche, nothing new. I can say it is fun to enjoy. A light horror movie.

A horror film with a go-green spirit that was ruined by an utterly narcissistic ghost. And bad writing and bad directing as well, of course. Had to roll my eyes when a particular scene was unashamedly a shot-to-shot copy of one of Satan's Slave's infamous scenes.
