The Town

I was shocked by the beautiful graphics from the first look, scenes and backgrounds are unbelievable good compare to most of Chinese anime. However, the story was too huge for only 27 mins, I understand that maybe the cost management force the team to produce a short film rather than a regular length, like 100-min, anime film. It is pity that The Town does not have enough time to explain the world nor develop the characters in such short time. Therefore, the director has to use the character to directly preach those what he thinks are right or wrong, and these preaches are most annoying parts of this film even though I agree with them. To be fair, alongside with the shortages mentioned above, it is still a good anime, better than 99 percent of those who were produced in China, if you got time, maybe watch it yourself, it's not long and you can rarely find other animes similar to it.
