This film is shot like an advert for men's grooming products. The script is a series of clichés strung together to link scenes of a muscled man sitting naked or semi-naked in his apartment. The muscled man sometimes leaves his apartment to row with his girlfriend or indulge in masculine horseplay with his friend. The scenes are repeated a number of times, giving the impression that the makers of this film were seriously lacking ideas visually, thematically and in terms of character development. The psychological make-up of the muscled man is about as complex as the house bricks which he sometimes bangs his head against when very upset/drunk. This is a weak film, almost laughably so,and one which lacks any hint of being able to extract itself from the type of trite sentimental discourse which has made Valentine's Day such lucrative business for card and gift retailers.
