Telling big stories in a short time is a pretty hard thing to do, yet this film managed to pull it off. I liked the setting, a conservative southern home filled with hurt. The director pulls us in straight away. And things get heavy to the point it feels a bit much and then it allows us a breath and it goes right back in. The cinematography and editing made the transitions smooth. The director managed to create a tension over something that we don't understand ùp until the very end. I didn't see the twist coming and it was executed really well. All in all, a surprisingly good short.
