The conflict between Naxalites, industrialists and the government is very old. All three have their own agenda, which they try to fulfill. In between all this, political parties also find their point in it.
ZEE5 Naxalbari web series is one such story revolving around Naxalism, industry and politics, which is made under the direction of Partho Mitra. This web series of nine episodes will be shown on ZEE5 Original.
The seat thriller of ZEE5 tells the story of the conflict between the Naxalites and the government. The moments depicted in it will increase your heartbeat.
Naxalbari web series is a great web series to watch, with great action and sharp social commentary. A film or web series, its story becomes funny when there is suspense in it.
The story of Naxalbari is not as easy as it seems. Naxalbari captivates you from the very first episode. The subsequent nine episodes take you on a fantastic adventure.
However, a lot of expectations are attached to it and hopefully it will not disappoint. Of course, no such show has been shown on screen yet.

This is probably the first series which is made from the point of view of security forces and doesn't glorify naxalism.
This is the first series which has showed the nexus between so called intellectuals, social activists, politicians and naxals.
It also shows how the brave security forces are martyred for the greed and political agenda of these people and despite this they are always ready to serve.
Great performances by Rajeev Khandelwal, Aamir Ali, Sreejita Dey and Tarun Arora. However, there ending is abrupt and somethings are shown which are far from current reality.

Poor direction and average acting by few actors. Story is okay.

The story is very promising but the direction and plot spoiled the series. The unnecessary fighting with fists bollywood style instead of shooting in the head makes the story unrealistic. Also the thrill is missing in most places due to loose and predictable plot. Other than the cop Mohit's killing nothing else in the movie is mysterious or thrilling. Some characters like Ketki and FICA MIT industrialist who happen to the main villain are very weak.
"Naxalbari is a taut, gripping and action packed mini series on Zee5 that ticks all the boxes. It exudes the conviction of all the players involved, the activists who believe in the Maoist ideology, the administration on the defensive and the capitalists who create the imbalance in the society.
Raghav (Rajeev Khandelwal) leads a mission to investigate the Gadchiroli blast with the objective of bringing the Naxalite movement under control, but gets caught in the maze of his own past, the tragic assassination of his dearest friend and eventually gets nabbed by the resurgents. He soon realizes that the network is extremely complex, reinforced by the local village folks and there are challenges closer home too.
As he tries to put the clues together with his colleagues and other seniors, a major showdown is waiting to be executed at a summit where the chief minister is about to inaugurate an industrial initiative that's meant to change the demographics of the region.
It's showtime!! Director Partho Mitra puts forward a power packed, fast paced, suspenseful and intriguing drama with some stellar performances from Aamir Ali, Satyadeep Mishra, Tarun Arora, Tina Dutta, Narayani Shastri, Shakti Anand and Rajeev Khandelwal. Spurred by some breathtaking cinematography by Modhura Palit and Hari Nair, wild sets steeped in reality and a haunting background score will keep the viewers glued on till the very end.

The story and thriler is fabulous. Although it will be unjustified to use this name as this not exactly story of naxalite. Some of the scenes are dramatic and fictional is well prevalent. Khandelwal has done an amazing job. No doubt its worth a watch if thrill is your genre

I could not even watch 15 minutes of it. The direction is horrible, the acting is subpar, everything seems fake. Also I'm tired of the same old story Line of glorifying terrorism. All these people giving 10 stars are obviously fake.

This TV series of Naxalbari will give you a clear view of the lifestyle of naxals and also their impact on society in an entertaining way.
A reasonable crime drama *ring Rajeev Khandelwala, Tina Dutta (heroine of Daayan). Director should have spent more time on character development. Story finished with a twist. Some dialogues are hard to understand. Subtitles are not available on all devices. There are loose ends for a possible s2.
In the era of series like Scam, Familyman, Delhi Crime, this comes where not proper plot, awful acting infact over acting, old agenda. Recommended to avoid if you like serious craft.

The story line of this series is unique but it is not well organised. I think our expectation is very high that's why we can tell about this.

Full thriller and amazing suspense. You should definitely not miss this thriller tv series of Naxalbari.
This TV series is all about a positive intentional revenge, surrounded with cops, industrialists, villagers, and naxals.
One more web series, glorifying terrorists and vilifying Hindutva groups as well as placing the blame on the system for "forcing" people to take up arms.
After several web series like Family Man, Ghoul etc which justified Islamic terrorism now is the time to white-wash Naxalites, which is exactly what this series aims to do.
The Naxalites are basically portrayed as "Gandhians with guns" and noble souls who are forced to fight for their rights against the cruel manipulative government, scheming corporates and biased police men.
On the other hand, Hindutva groups are shown as indulging in unbridled violence against poor villagers, killing and raping them with impunity, shooting them for sport and so on.
Sure they do show a few Naxalites who are evil too and a couple of cops who are sincere; but the overwhelming message is that 99.99% of Naxalites are good people who are forced to pick up the gun to fight against a system which has made their lives miserable.
This is nothing other than main-streaming of violence and an attempt to create sympathy for anarchists.
The series as such is nothing much going for it. The main characters are played by veteran TV actors, so they deliver average performances. Convoluted story line with everyone double and triple crossing each other in an attempt to stay on top.
Key characters conveniently take stupid risks when it is time for them to be bumped off. But the protagonist always stays alive no matter what and is invariably rescued at the nick of time, so that he can carry on the good fight.
Trained cops behave like amateurs when the story line dictates it. Naxalites sit around in the forest the whole day and clean their guns (which consists of detaching and reattaching their magazines endlessly).
Couple of over-dramatic moments, which reminded me of the stupid saas-bahu serials.

Naxalbari is an entertaining and a new story backed with excellent performances. Rajeev Khandelwal as usual shines in his role as STF agent Raghav Joshi. The other characters in the show also give a decent performance especially Aamir Ali as Ambar Keswani and Tarun Arora as Pathak. Overall a must dekho!

Rajeev Khandelwal is in the lead role but the story is beautifully focused on every single lead and supporting actors in this series.

If you are looking for action and thriller tv series, must watch Naxalbari. You can't find anything better than it.
Entire series is not in a flow.
There is no clear message which this series wants to convey

Doesn't stand on the expectations. Story is very poor quality 😕. There is no connection of real naxal.most importantly story plot is in maharashtra where the naxalbari is in westbengal. Very disappointing 😓😩
