With hilariously rushed and utterly incoherent twists and developments, nonsensical and unrealistic power-ups that happen out of nowhere, unnecessary and boring secondary cast of characters.. and a lead that remains unlikeable, and worst of all, doesn't ever really grow (he suddenly becomes capable because the script demands it). The "Liar Game" aesthetic and (basically the same) plot also feels out of place and doesn't fit the execution it starts with.

And while it's not all bad (the beginning is quite promising, editing and sound design are pretty good at times, and it has some really good moments/ideas regarding gambling and such).. the games aren't that interesting nor can you really follow them.. but worst of all is how the series decided to end. Watch it if interested, as I had no issues powering through, but expect nothing but disappointment near closure.
