Really enjoy this show, love meeting the chefs, Selena is adorable. Cool idea, chill show.
Her friend Raquelle needs to GO - super annoying, attention seeking, she shouts when she talks and has the audacity to TEXT during the filming. Unreal.

I didn't have high hopes for this and in fact I thought it would be mostly good for a laugh but was I wrong!
Yes there's humor with the banter back and forth. But all of that aside there are some amazing dishes that are made and I have actually made some myself.
This is such a great idea especially during the pandemic. I hope the show stays on even when life gets back to normal.
The only complaint I have about the show is her friend Raquelle. How in the world can someone be face to face with these amazing chefs and be more concerned about what's on her phone? Put the damn thing down and at least act interested!
Gotta get back to my next episode!

Great concept.
Enjoy watching Selena and chefs and her grandparents interact. Real chemistry and caring. Genuine.
I have tried a few of the recipes and enjoyed the new, fresh cooking ideas.
Except - Her friend Raquelle needs to GO - annoying, rude, she shouts when she talks, she can't stay off her phone, and she pokes at Selena for not knowing how to do something.... really? The Season 2 episode with two friends, almost was the end of our watching this series. It was so irritating that we almost turned the show off.
We hope you put the series back to the original concept, Selena and Chef with her grandparents. This works! You have a great show!
Love the charity donations too, brings awareness to charities in need to a larger audience.

For starters, I'm no shill or diehard Selena Gomez fan. She's a decent actress as evinced by her performances in Spring Breakers (the only actor who didn't dial it in for that one) and Woody Allen's A Rainy Day in New York. As for the singing, well, even she apologizes for that. When done right, cooking, too, is a fine artform. I found this show immediately relatable, playful, funny, and highly instructional. The chefs really boil it down to the basics (except for that splenetic French chef that yelled a lot) and share wonderful, fairly easy to follow recipes. Selena comes across as genuine and unspoiled by her success. She's as cute as a squirrel's nut and seems so down to earth. This is refreshing, as so many of her fellow, former Disney mouseketeers appear damaged beyond repair. Her humility is illustrated in each episode as her errors are never edited out and she has that rare, laudable ability to laugh at herself. Plus she donates $10k per episode to the guest chef's charity of choice. It's also cool that she includes her pets, grandparents and friends (both celebrities and civilians) in the episodes. I could go without the obnoxious one called Raquel who resembles a sleestak attached to a smart phone though. Also, if you close your eyes and listen to Selena speak you'd think she was an 80+ year old, chain-smoking grandma. In any event, Selena should be proud of this and her nice blue knives. I gave it a 10 because that's what she is. Cool fact: the series is filmed inside her own home which once belonged to the late, great Tom Petty!

I have enjoyed this show very much. Selena is real and not afraid to show she doesn't know much about cooking. I enjoy her Papa on the show and how quick he is to help her out. However there is 1 person her friend Raquelle who is annoying and very unneeded on the show. She comes off fake and cringey.

The show is fun and enjoyable. Selena does an amazing job hosting the show by being herself, she is funny and playful so I personally did enjoy the show and you can actually learn how to cook the recipes from the chefs, they explain everything in detail since Selena isn't the best chef out there.. 😂😂

Love this show i actually binged watched it, but i do not understand why is this annoying girl name raquel in the show, she is the only thing i can complain about, she takes away all the enjoyment i have, her voice and attitude and her lack of interest. But the Selena and all the chefs are amazing! I do recommend but PLEASE take Raquel away forever. I considered to stop watching because of this girl. While Selena is trying her best you have this horrible person not caring at all. Nana and papa love them, the chefs so far are the best part of the show and the charity part is so touching. Please listen to the viewers take raquel away that would make this show a 10/10.

I love this show but her friend is the most supremely annoying person i've ever seen on TV. I wish producers would catch on and stop featuring her. She's incredibly obnoxious and tries way too hard to be the center of attention. The show is perfect without her! There have been several episodes when the chefs are clearly annoyed by her, too.
I love how genuine Selena is and down to earth in her interactions with the chefs. It would be an incredible honor to cook with any of those chefs! It really does make you realize that ANYONE can be a cook or chef, you just need the proper tips, tools, and instructions.

Great series. I felt "at home" with Selena. It resonates with me and how I am in my kitchen most times, just wanting to try new things. Selena is amazing and she makes it so much fun to watch and actually learn things that don't feel so overwhelming.
I've been trying a couple of the dishes and who knew it would be so easy and fun. I need more Selena in the kitchen!

I don't know if they cut parts of the show out but Selena seems very cold to the chefs and their families. I saw her just walk away from 2 young boys trying to say hi in season 2, and her being totally disinterested in other peoples stories and jokes. 🤔 It hurt my feeling for them. I do however enjoy the chefs and how fun they are, I also like the step by step instructions, if I wanted to try making a dish at home, I could. 🙂

I've had HBO Max for a few months know and didn't even realize this show was on here! As soon as I noticed it, I started watching immediately. I have always been a big fan of Selena. She's an amazing human and I was super excited to watch this! I am already on Season 3 after finding this show 2 days ago! I love how real and vulnerable Selena is with her cooking skills and she's doing an incredible job! The chefs that have been featured are amazing as well! I also love the support of her Nana and Papa and friends. The only thing I would say is to be more mindful of small things that happen on the show, that could leave the episode unfulfilled. I.e. Part of a meal already being completely eaten by others before the final product can be tasted completely. Or even the little jabs towards Selena when she is struggling and clearly is trying her best /: I feel for her anxiety but I know she's doing so well all together!! Overall, I hope there are many more seasons to come because definitely will watch every season over and over again (: thank you Selena & HBO Max!

Each episode she donated $10,000 to the chef teaching her and each guest chef is witty and funny. It's a fun lighthearted show that's enjoyable and nice to relax and enjoy. Fun seeing everything she does which each chef and their friends/family members.

Selena has just thought us how to teach cooking. The manner in which each episode is presented with step by step instructions together with the demo By the actual chef followed with the demo by a novice clearly proves to be the best method for teaching cooking.
I love watching this while I eat dinner. It's entertaining, heartwarming and informative. Selena is very vulnerable and charming, and the food she makes with the guests chefs is often intriguing and delicious. This is the kind of show that brightens my day.
Season 1 was such fun to watch! Season 2, each episode became less enjoyable as they went along. Selena didn't seem like she was as interested and excited to be learning as she was in season 1 and her friend Raquelle (who can't seem to stay off her phone for 30 minutes to do the show) is extremely annoying and gets more so with each episode. In season 1 I really enjoyed that it wasn't edited and it was great. Season 2 and 3 they began editing so the "realness (live) feeling is gone. I don't know if I'll continue to watch all of season 3. I hope they can go back to what they had in the beginning. Great concept and it worked!!!!
This show is a complete and utter masterpiece but would be even more spectacular if it edited out every single moment that Raquelle speaks and laughs...she adds absolutely nothing to the plot and it is beyond annoying. Her self esteem makes Selena and her family in comparison seem much more relatable to an everyday audience, but that isn't enough reason to allow her any more screen time.
Selena is the absolute cutest person ever and I love watching her cook and not know what's going on at all!!!!!!!! Raquelle doesn't add anything to the show besides being an annoyance and honestly ruins the whole thing.
Would consider watching again with the revised copy.

How does she rate a food cooking show? She's exactly why I hardly watch Food Network. Words to describe this show: annoying, dumb, uninformative, and did I say, annoying? Who is the blonde friend and why is she there. Why is Selena there for that matter. She's not likeable and neither are her recipes interesting or apparently tasty. Cancel this show! Please. Put on rerun after rerun of Guy Fiera! Please. What is the point. How did she get this show? She's not likeable in the least. Food Network has gotten terrible since it god rid of Emeril! Cancel this show, please! Please. Please. Please! Please!

My family loves this show. It's been so nice to watch her growth and love the concept. We love how she learns and we learn from the variety Chefs. Great variety and diversity. She should make a cookbook with all the recipes. MORE please!! I love that the show donates to charity great to hear about each one. Now for the negative that girl Raquel needs to GO.... please, she makes it sooo difficult to watch and that cell phone she is extremely rude! She is super annoying obnoxious and adds nothing but stupid commentary and entitlement. We cannot stand her, put Papa in her place please!!!! Great show otherwise.

I loved. Selena is so cute!
Everyone teaches her so accurately. I loved how detailed they are with everething making sure, at least looks like, that we can do it at home as well. I am gonna try it. Cause there is so many stunning and yummy plates. I am not a bigger cooking watcher, but I do enjoy to cook. Selena makes it so light and fun. When I started I didn't wanna stop of watching it and of course she gives something back, donating for any charity they choose. We couldn't expect less from Selena, right?! 👼🏻👑💖 Her smile made me smile.
Keep going girl.
