I just want to say that the spanish version is a remake too, of "No sos vos, soy yo" (Argentina, 2004)

There's something completely joyous about watching a film in which the entire cast has sort of surrendered themselves to the journey. By all means follow your dreams. Follow your heart. NOT EVEN THE BEST WORST MOVIE: just living proof that time does heal all wounds and bad movies.
Cheap laughs are still laughs, right. Take pity on an industry that releases this kind of product!

ROFL first of all, why did anyone credit himself with "writing" this garbage? It's a complete RIP-OFF of a FAR superior Spanish film from 2010, the Spanish film EVEN HAS THE EXACT same title when translated. SO this hack basically remakes this flick and tries to take credit for it? Isn't that illegal? DO YOURSELF a HUGE favour and watch the SPANISH version, it's AWESOME, and don't waste your time with this 2021 crap.

As has already been noted on this page, this film is an awful rip-off of.the 2010 Spanish film, No eres tú, soy yo. The production company which made this abomination calls itself 'New Zealand Son Film', despite having no apparent relationship with New Zealand. Their logo glibly features. Maori iconography.
It's all very cringe that the producer of this film has no discernable talent of their own, instead magpieing other cultures and ideas, but not in any clever way.
