An excellent sci-fi spaceship sim where you play as a girl named Nara, and with the help of her sentient spaceship Forsa, must defeat a cult named the Circle who plans on releasing a dangerous and unknown force to the universe. I've never played a game like this before, and my god what fun it was. I can't say I was a huge fan of the 3 grindy achievements this game had, but they weren't too much of a problem. Anyways, I really enjoyed how fluid and fast paced the combat/travel was in this game. Boosting around remnants of a ship and flying erratically around asteroids was so much fun. Also the combat is robust, as not only as you get 3 different weapons for your ship (which you can also get upgraded versions and even boosters) you also get powers called rites, which make combat so much fun, and lets just be honest, way easier. But in this game, you'll need all the upgrades you can get. Story and mission wise, this game is way bigger than I thought it was going to be. It's basically a rpg in parts, which give you loads and loads of side missions to do in certain areas of the main story. Regarding the main story, it's pretty cool. I think alot of the super deep sci-fi kind of lost me a little bit, as it played with multi-dimensions, vague lore and what not, and it seemed more fantasy than not. I still dug it though, loved the map layouts and beautiful vistas of destroyed planets and the cosmos. In the end, the game does get pretty difficult toward the end. I spent 40 hours in this game, making sure I did every side mission and every challenge so I could be prepared for the end boss; The Prophet. Definitely fun, I think I died once, but that was still with my character fully maxed out with the best guns. Loved the boss fight, loved this game. Highly recommended to sci-fi and space sim fans.
