This study of the Nigerian film industry centres on the Lagos based activity and Peace Anyiam-Fiberesima, the organizer of their AMA awards. Articulate enough, her "Once a Laotian..." to camera commentaries aren't all that informative.
Short on clips from productions, not the least striking moment is the market tot box and labeling his stack of discs at a speed that indicates lots of practice. There's a condemnation of piracy - for every ten thousand sold, another four thousand are bootlegged. We learn that budgets are creeping up from fifteen to eighteen thousand dollars to forty to fifty. A film fund has been established.
