Trivia
The vocals in the closing credits were provided by members of Rushmoor Male Voice Choir and recorded in the Q121 Wind Tunnel at Farnborough Airport (formerly the Royal Aircraft Establishment) in Hampshire. Rushmoor is the name of the Borough Council that encompasses the towns of Aldershot "Home of the British Army" and Farnborough "Birthplace of Aviation".

Goofs
The film wrongly creates the impression that all three targeted dams were breached and it even says so in one newspaper headline. In fact, the attack on the Sorpe dam was a failure. Its thick earth berm remained largely undamaged in the first and all subsequent air raids.

A Fitting Tribute.

This is a superb piece of documentary cinamatography. Rarely do documentarys grip or move you as this does. This is a fitting tribute to a heroic, and for many years unrecognised group of men. I must add, after living for several years near RAF Coningsby, believe me nothing sounds like the sound of five merlin engines!!!! I would often see "The Lanc" with a Spitfire on its wing, as they flew to some event. Again superb film.
