This short is based on the antagonist's opening monologue in Jason Harley's short screenplay "Pandora's Adversaries." The screenplay was a Quarter Finalist in the Chicago Screenplay Awards, NYC International Screenplay Awards, and Austin Screenplay Awards. The screenplay was also selected by WILDsound Festival for a table read in March 2020.
Jason Harley's "Pandora's Adversaries (Quarantine Demo)" was shot on his Samsung phone, at home in his basement, late on April 27, 2020, during the global Covid-19 pandemic. Harley made the short for submission to Roger Corman's "Corman Quarantine Film Festival" and the "Isolation Short Film Festival."
