This feature was filmed during the Coronavirus Pandemic in August 2020.
FREAK (2021) was filmed at Santa Mira Studio, a notoriously haunted warehouse dating back to the 1900s. The building sits upon the remains of Franklin Cemetery, a 19th century burial ground. Cast and crew reportedly experienced several instances of paranormal phenomena during principal photography.
Kickstarter campaign raised most of budget. Filming scheduled to begin in philly area in August.
