Snagglepuss saying "Hanukkah" was bleeped out, apparently at the insistence of CBS.
Because he was still partly recovering from a stroke, Daws Butler asked to be allowed to record his lines alone, so he wouldn't hold up the other voice actors in case multiple takes were required.
According to Mark Evanier, Hanna-Barbera originally requested that Daws Butler be removed from the project and all his roles recast, due to Butler's agent turning down the proposed salary. As this occurred three days before the scheduled recording sessions, and since all the top voice actors working in Hollywood refused to audition for Butler's roles, Evanier eventually complained to Joseph Barbera himself. Once it emerged that the studio's offer was only a thousand dollars short of what Butler's agent had asked for, Barbera demanded that Butler be paid in full, and production resumed without delay.
