In the beginning, it is not necessary to be a fans of the Doremi Show to watch the movie, And it's not a magical or fantasy movie. It's more like slide of life movie.
The movie is about three girls who grew up in love with a Doremi show, and how their love for this show solved their problems in their old age.
The film has many beautiful and purposeful messages to solve problems that exist in reality, such as not overly obsessive with fictional characters to the point of mixing reality and its effect of introverted individuals.
What I really liked is the writer could produce a film about the main tv show, but he excelled in choosing this way, in the end it is a movie directed to the fans of a tv show, so why not the story is about them?

After having encountered many challenges in their respective lives, Sora, Mire and Reika - three women from different walks of life - see their paths cross thanks for their common appreciation of Magical Doremi, a kid show they grow up watching.
I've came across « Looking for Magical Doremi » as a fan of the show, hence, I strongly identify with characters of the movie who I roughly share the same age with.
I thought it was a wonderful movie. It captures the essence of the show I loved watching when I was a kid. It is still tackling very real issues of life, while adapting it to an adult audience. To me, it is showing girlhood in its diversity and adversity while sharing uplifting messages of hope through slice of life stories. It was truly a pleasure to follow the journey of Sora, Mire and Reika.
I recommend that movie for grown up fans of the show, as well as for people that appreciate slice of life movies and animes.
