Monotonous approach in some paper-thin plotting

'Sobat Ambyar' doesn't quite reach the potentials that it strives to and struggles to fully engage due to its monotonous approach in some paper-thin plotting. If nothing else, the movie is a great, sweet tribute to Didi Kempot's glorious songs for the broken hearts.
