This is obviously a low budget film but there is quite an interesting concept which will be keeping you engaged until is revealed towards the end. From the reviews here, I can see that people didn't like it, but I do not think it was a bad movie.
Screenplay was the highlight for me, acting had some weak points and the directing was following basic safe rules for a film with a mysterious ending. Give it a go... maybe you will like it as I did!
There is an interesting Balkan connection there... not sure what to make out of it.

Saw this yesterday. I enjoyed it. Very disturbing and claustrophobic, especially if you like medical and body horror. Made the most of its limited budget. Unfortunately for me, I heard someone compare it to another film, so I knew what was going on from the start. But if you just go in blind, I think it's a fun way to spend 90 minutes. There are some really embarrassing green-screen effects at the very end, but it didn't ruin it for me. I was more like, awwwww that's cute that they tried that. I thought the lead actress did a fine job, the main doctor was good, and I enjoyed all the weird-o patients. I think the whole production team was sincere in their desire to make an enjoyable film, and I think they were successful. It's certainly not the best thing ever, but it shouldn't make you angry either. If the trailer intrigues you, give it a shot!
Seems a little familiar in the horror genre. A woman with appendicitis goes to a hospital and wakes up in a prison like hospital. What she discovers changes every thing. This was watchable. Not great, but the story held out pretty well with a decent ending.
I really didn't expect to like this film but damn was I surprised. I'm usually not into these kind of movies (don't want to spoil the ending), so liking it despite that makes it even better.
The story is very mysterious and intriguing, makes you question "why", "what", "where", all the time. It never gets dull. Most characters are interesting and the film gets you invested in the main protagonist.
Now, there are obvious flaws and holes in the plot but for the most part, it was an enjoyable indie horror. I saw the twist coming, was hoping it wasn't that kind of a twist but somehow even that worked decently well.
More indies like this! 5.5/10.

The movie in general looks cheap but not to the point that it looks amateur. If you prefer movies that looks really expensive then it's not perfect for you. The story is straightforward. You'll already know the goal of the protagonist in the very beginning but there's just a bit surprise in the end. There are minor flaws that I've noticed and the acting wasn't really perfect but still forgivable because it has interesting story line.

We're not talking the best movie here. It's been done many times before and it's been done better. Much better. But, it does have some redeeming qualities and I actually liked it. Well, kind of. If you like low budget B-Movies, give it a watch. It won't make your day. But it's an OK'ish time killer.

While it won't win any major awards, you won't regret curling up with this one on Halloween.
If the story and climax seem somewhat predictable, don't worry. It's the dressing and details that differentiate one attempt from another. This one moves. The plot keeps just enough mystery to make the final outcome uncertain and the players carry their characters well enough to maintain empathy and interest. If you are intrigued by Dante's perspectives of hell, then you'll especially enjoy this cinematic rendition of something similar.
So, what message does this vision deliver? Simple. Be good to one another because you'll never know how, when, where or why!

The plot of the movie is unusual.. it wasn't a very good movie, but, you can watch it ...
Frankly ... The visual effects in the last five minutes of the movie were primitive and a little bit unprofessional as though they were made by amateur.
However, the plot was fresh, and the performance was good. :)

I made an account just to give this movie a bad rating. Don't watch, not worth. Special effects at the ending were phenomenal. Green screen was a 10/10.
I can't fathom why this movie has received such low ratings.
Of course in 2021 it is difficult to come up with something completely original in any genre so nobody should expect to watch an instant classic here but if someone is into the dark, mysterious, kind of horrors with plot twists this is absolutely for them. Give this movie a chance everyone.

Low budget - yes, but the acting was great and the gore was decent, so I got what I wanted from this movie.
Better than I thought it would be.

This movie isn't near as bad as others on here say it is. It has a interesting spin to it I didn't see coming. It's not a great movie by any stretch but it's much better then a lot I've watched. I'm not mad I watched it like I was with Hardcore Henry that movie sucked.

It's a typical class D movie that totally waste time of audience and producer yourself. Producer - why you do things that hurt the audience? Watching this is a torture!
This one starts right off the bat doing a good job at being deterring from the low picture quality, stilted dialogue and spotty acting... yet still somehow ends up bringing you around into liking it.
There was a lot about this production that was low quality. It didn't particularly look very nice, picture quality or shot wise. The dialogue was wooden and the cuts from scene to scene were choppy. The acting was on the low side of mediocre all around except for the head doctor, he was good. At the end of the day a lot about this made it feel very amateurish.
Despite a lot of these negatives, I still quite liked this! It was engaging and entertaining. It wasted no time getting into the good stuff and kept up a solid pace throughout. Conceptually I quite liked this as well and saw a lot of potential. It was an interesting twist with a decent ending. I would love to see someone do a reimagining of this with a bit more finesse and budget, kinda like Last Shift/Malum. Would recommend.

I'm always intrigued when I watch these crap movies by the question: "Who thought this was a good idea?"
Absolutely stupid. And the cgi ending...lol!

I don't understand the mixed reviews on this one! It has enough gore to satisfy those seeking that (but not too much that it would be off putting to others), the main story has been done before but they manage to do it in a unique enough way that I was surprised with the twists and turns, the ending makes sense and gives you answers... which a loooot of horror movies don't do! Definitely will be recommending to my horror/thriller lovers.

Well, the premise for this 2021 thriller from writers Peter Daskaloff and Matthew Toronto didn't really seems all that interesting or thrilling. But still, I opted to sit down and watch "Antidote", given the fact that it was a movie that I hadn't already seen.
And while I say watched, well sort of actually. I managed to get almost halfway through this snoozefest of a movie before I had to give up out of sheer and utter boredom. This movie was a swing and a miss if there ever was one. Nothing about the storyline interested me, and the movie just trotted on in a very monotonous pace that offered nothing worthwhile on the screen and just kept adding to the amassing boredom that director Peter Daskaloff was dishing out.
Needless to say that the bland and rather pointless character gallery in the movie didn't help to sell the concept of the movie much either. The characters in the movie were essentially just drones milling about with no discernible personalities or traits to set them apart from one another. And that made for a very dull movie experience.
I was sporting some hope of "Antidote" when I saw that Louis Mandylor was on the cast list. But even he couldn't manage to salvage this train wreck of a movie.
The storyline here was just something that had been seen and done in other similar thrillers, except they managed to pull it off with more conviction and punch, and having a worthwhile and interesting character to support the storyline. That you will not find in "Antidote".
I have zero intensions of returning to watch the rest of "Antidote", because I just simply doesn't care an ounce about the storyline or the characters that ran around like mindless ants in it.
My rating of "Antidote" lands on a generous two out of ten stars, and that is based solely on the production value of the movie.
