The Hot Tamale train may be leaving the station. And if so, Paula Abdul could prove to be forever Fox’s girl.
Our sister site Deadline is reporting that So You Think You Can Dance may give the judges’ dais a facelift for the coming Season 12, with original arbiter Mary Murphy rumored to be parting ways with the competition series.
If Murphy does bow out, Fox is said to be eyeing American Idol alum/choreographer/sometime singer Paula Abdul to fill the void. Abdul has guest-judged on Fox’s Sytycd on three occasions, as well as sat on the dais...

Can you guess our pick for the best performance of the season? Better yet: Can you guess the One male vocalist who made our list?
Maybe you’re done with the twelfth season of American Idol, but I’m not. Before we officially switch off our DVR season pass and lock ourselves in for So You Think You Can Dance, let’s take one last look at the low-rated, but luckily lady-dominated season and pick the 10 best performances.
10. Kree Harrison, “What the World Needs Now”
Kree really impressed me with song choices early on in the series. This girl chose two Susan Tedeschi songs. She picked an effing Faith Hill song that ended up being great and original. And most impressively, she chose this sung-to-death Bacharach tune and improved on its original version (by the lovable Jackie DeShannon) by rendering the song in her glum, disarmingly unembellished voice. Starting out in a cappella?...

So last night I was watching a little bit of So You Think You Can Dance (loooong story... don't ask) when I came across something that was actually interesting: two separate acts who have developed "horror-style" dances. The first one is "Zombie," in which dancer Stepheon Stewart contorts like he is possessed. In the second one, "Exorcist Style," dancer Hampton Williams needs to borrow your soul - he'll give it right back. Try not to let the Evanescence soundtrack get you down.

Phillip Phillips knows what you like, "American Idol" voters. As mentor Jimmy Iovine has said a few times during Season 11, he and fellow finalist (and cute guy) Colton Dixon have the teen girl vote on lockdown. So how can you blame him for acting on everyone in America's urge and gently stroking Dixon's blonde mohawk during the Top 7 group performance of Pink's hit "Raise Your Glass"?
"Yeah, it was my idea," Phillips confesses to Zap2it. "I knew every girl in America would be jealous. You know, all the girls love Colton because of his fake hair -- oops, did I say that?"
Dixon confirms: "Phillip just naturally did that. There's Phillip for ya! He naturally did that during one of the rehearsals and everyone loved it so much that they made us do it," he says. Now, it's a moment that will go down in "Idol" history. "That's...

Jason Coleman has slammed swimwear model Lara Bingle during her guest stint on the Australian version of Celebrity Apprentice. Choreographer Coleman and politician Pauline Hanson were teamed up with guest celebrities Bingle and radio presenter Jono Coleman as Team Unity, and were asked to present a children's play at a local Sydney school. Team leader Coleman called Bingle a "waste of space" when she walked on stage too early, while Hanson became frustrated when the model didn't purchase all the props and costumes needed for the production. The children watching the performance described the So You Think You Can Dance Australia judge as "crazy" and "mean", as he desperately tried to save the show based on 'Twinkle Twinkle Little Star'. Dance obviously does a body good.
Here at Twitterwatch, we never sleep. We're always on the prowl for the latest from your favorite celebrities around the world. And it's a good thing because some of the best stuff comes when celebrities do take some time off for themselves, often on the opposite side of the world.
For example, a reader recently pointed out So You Think You Can Dance Australia's Season One runner up Rhys Bobridge. He's a dancer, he's a drag performer, he's an activist. And he looks good in a Speedo when he gets a spring day off. But like many of us, he doesn't necessarily function in the mornings.

Robbie Kmetoni won Ten's reality contest after years of being the only boy at school who loved to dance.
18-year-old Robbie Kmetoni from Sydney has won the 2010 title of So You Think You Can Dance Australia.
"I'm on cloud nine right now," he said.
"When I got into top four anything could have happened. When I got into top two there was a 50/50 chance, but I never actually thought I would win."
At just 18 the win is a huge boost to Kmetoni's career and endorses years of training, sometimes under duress.

"Just to clarify, I didn't write that bit. And that was from when I was 15 — and there is a reason that song's not on my record. So I have to admit now, I do regret ever even singing that, because I have mad respect for [Britney]. At the time, I was 15. I didn't really have the balls to not sing it. That is why it's not on my record. I can't really stand behind it."
