Walter Schönenbröcher, a photo artist and filmmaker, visits German artist colleagues in their studios and films them at work. By means of a special Virtual Reality 360° 3D technique, he enables the viewer, while watching his films, to have the immersive experience of standing next to the artist during the creative process and watching him at work. The interviews conducted with the artists partly contain personal information about their life, work, and understanding of art and are added to the visual documentation as audio collages. Many of the artists (painters, sculptors, ceramic artists, installation artists) portrayed in this way so far are internationally recognized and national and international art prize winners.
