Shot within five days on location in Rome, Italy and Paris, France. The production only had one night to shoot in Paris.
The film is subtitled in English, having been shot entirely in Italian and French. Director Kris Krainock speaks neither Italian or French.
Despite being a contemporary story, and being shot digitally, the film was given filmic "imperfections" to create the feeling that this could be a "lost movie" from the era of Italian and French cinema that inspired the project. Deep scratches were added to some visuals, as were deliberately warped sound effects, suggesting the original film negative had been mishandled or neglected, and therefore damaged. The filmmakers were overjoyed when viewers asked if the movie suffered from legitimate technical problems.
