Zero Avenue

It is no surprise the Braeson Herold is the writer of this movie as it appears the part was tailored to his strengths as an actor, designed to show off his versatility and range. Not only does Braeson play three distinct roles, but does so with realism and nuance. He is a natural actor and hopefully this project will push him into further starring roles.

As to the story, it is definitely something I haven't seen before, especially the meet cute at the beginning. It is such a surprise when you find out what is truly going on, and I'm not sure I've seen anything quite like it. Sometimes the dialogue shifts into overly expository--some falling a bit too late in the movie for my taste--but there is also a fair amount of humorous snark that caught me off guard.

A solid indie horror movie with an incredible lead actor.
