Decent game but annoying dialogues
I've progressed a decent bit into the game so I guess it's time for a review since it's not going to end anytime soon:
Combat: (8/10)
Combat system is very simple to learn but a bit difficult to master. There are normal and charged attacks. No dedicated button to dodge but you can jump or sprint from attacks. Parry and shield are only available for certain characters. There are elemental bursts (E and Q in pc) - powerups with cooldowns. And there are elemental reactions which you can use to your advantage (e.g use freeze/cryo near water to freeze enemies, affect them with fire and then use anemo/wind to produce the reaction 'swirl'). Upto midgame in both open world and quests, combat is nothing difficult and you can easily win most battles if you level up your characters and put some effort into building them with proper artifacts.
Open World Aspect: (8/10)
The world is huge, and it has small encounters, treasures, puzzles and challenges, but despite that it feels empty sometimes. The character moves very slowly, there's no mount so it gets a bit tedious. Gliding is only possible if you jump for a higher place.
The combat being fairly simple and there being too many encounters, the game gets a bit repetitive sometimes. But some of the puzzles are really good - for eg, the three mountain puzzles near Mt Aocang is really good.
Quests: (9/10)
The main quests are extremely good. Side quests have a lot of fetch quests and they might get boring. Commissions are okay, though they are mostly 'fight hillichurl' types. There are random events and world quests too if you start exploring the world which is fun.
Characters and Interactions: (5/10)
This is probably the worst part of the game for me. The dialogues are terrible and repetitive. Voice acting is okay for the chinese version. But I don't get why Paimon keeps repeating the same words? Is that supposed to be cute? It's annoying. And her English voice is downright garbage.
Most of the time I don't really care about what the characters are saying because of this repetition. I enjoy getting the characters and using them in combat though.
Music: (10/10)
The best part of the game. I love how the exploration theme and battle themes mix together. It's extremely good. Stormterror Lair is one of the most beautiful ost I've heard.
Graphics is okay as it is to be expected in this kind of game. Co-op is fun. Gacha aspect is annoying, but can't complain when it's a gacha game to begin with. Overall, it's a good game if you can tolerate annoying dialogues. Solid 8/10 game from me.

One of better games and its FREE..
I'll try to make this simple:
1. Its free fantasy anime styled game
2. It has a great main story
3. Visually is stunning
4. Open world is huge, and I mean huge (and diverse)
5. Combat is good enough, it requires some practice and knowledge of reactions
6. Number of playable characters is over the top, something for everyone
7. If you want a fast paced game, this is not for you, if you are in for characters and want them all; it will cost you real money, but it is really not necessary, game gives you for free everything you need to play it and experience everything that it has to offer, rest are cosmetics hidden behind gacha system, nothing more
8. Even that "evil" gacha in this game is kind a ok, by playing the game you will for sure earn and get few more characters and weapons without paying anything, or let me put it this way: F2P is really good in this game, F2P friendly
9. The game it self is in constant development, expanding world, new stories, new things are coming every month, so there is always something new to do, see, find, get,..
10. There are some repetitive things in it, like grinding for experience and materials, but its rewarding, its like, they gave you this beautiful world for free and now you must earn your way to stay there, how is that a bad thing?
11. Did I mention its free?? For all that complains about gacha cosmetics and their rant how its not fair; why would anyone do anything this good for free??! Did devs hid anything from ones that are not paying? No, so let me repeat once more: its free and you actually dont need anything, but if you want something like a spoiled child and rant like: why they dont give it for free, its not their fault, its yours!
12. I played games since 80's, so many titles, so many types of games, thousands, thrust me, please, when I say: there are only few game titles that are memorable: Genshin Impact is one of them...

I absolutely love this game!
It's an overall great game! Gameplay runs pretty smooth and the lore of this game is amazing!! I love how much time they have put into this game and I hope they keep updating it. I love the variaty of characters and everything. The only reason I didn't give it a ten was because of how suggestive some of the outfits have come to be and therefore I have gave it a 9.
Reasons to play: Voice acting Good characters Engaging fighting Continuous updates Can be either F2P or not Lots of lore
Reasons not to play: Suggestive outfits Adventure rank grinding sucks You can lose lots of money to the gacha system if you want Alcohol reference (If that sort of thing bugs you)
What I say: PLAY IT!! It's amazing and I think it's great! Rating: 13+

Absolutely amazing by mihoyo
Well, I haven't played Zelda game so I don't know if this game looks similar to Zelda. What I know is mihoyo has done excellent job in this "open world" game, yes there are some glitches (not pointing glitches or not exactly the real glitches but...)as this is version 1.0.0 I hope they will increase the speed of the movement of all characters and also I hope they will also speed up the attacks by "us" . The story is awesome for v1.0.0 and also music is incredible it's kinda similar to Ori game🤔🤔
Good game
It's a great game and reminds me a lot of Legend of Zelda, I just wish you were able to change your appearance.

I love this game!!
Genshin Impact is an action RPG game taking place in the land of Teyvat where the main character (You can choose a female or male protagonist) got unwillingly trapped in there while travelling with her sister by an unknown god. While in Teyvat, they meet Paimon, befriend her and they both go on a Journey on the 7 nations of Teyvat to find their sibling. The story hasn't disappointed me at all so far and the lore is very extensive and interesting to get into.
Gameplay wise, you start with 4 free characters (including the traveler), but you can unlock 4 more for free if you complete some tasks later in the game, which you can use level them up, level up their weapons, increase their talent/skill level and gather artifacts in order to make them stronger. Currently, there are 5 regions available to explore (plus some extra maps such as the Chasm and Enkanomiya) which are very immense and are always very fun to explore, open treasure chests for items, kill enemies for ascension materials, complete various time challenges and solve a lot of puzzles.
In this game a character can hold only one type of weapon. Sword, Claymore (large sword), Bow, Catalyst or Polearm. The types of characters can be separated to: Main DPS (the main character who is mostly on field and does the most damage), Sub-DPS (a character that has high energy recharge and you mostly use his burst for extra damage), Healer, Shielder and damage buffer. I like how the chaacters are seperated like that and it is always interesting when you figure out your own combinations for your team comps.
Even though the beginning might be a bit tedious for players, at high adventure rank, the game becomes way more fun! You get through those Adventure rank barriers and you unlock the true potential of the game! And there is a lot of stuff to do in the game! You can do side quests which give you certain rewards, Archon quests and Story quests which is basically the main story (and unlike wordl quests, those are fully voice acted in 4 languages with a lot of A-list voice actors such as Yukari Tamura in Japanese that did the voice of Furude Rika and Bernkastel from When They Cry.), you can cook food which can replenish health for your character, revive him if he fell and buff his stats. You can also chase Occuli which can increase your stamina bar permanently (you don't need all of them to maximize your stamina bar) and with this way, you can run fast for a longer duration, climb stuff for a longer time and also do more charged attacks without the bar depleting quickly.
The way you unlock characters is based on the gatcha gambling mechanic and a 50/50 pity wish system. If you want to get a 5* character/item, you have to spend 90 wishes on a limited character banner or standard permanent banner. On the limited character banner, if your first 5 star item is not the one featured, then the next 5 star item will be that character on the banner. Some people may become frustrated that you have to do microtransactions to get your desired 5* item or character faster but I believe Mihoyo is lenient enough to give lots of primogems (currency exhanged for wishes) at events that happen during each year, plus you get primogems from adventure rank rewards, Story Quests, Side Quests and Achievements. I personally don't mind that mechanic and it's rewarding when you finally get what you want!
For new players, I recommend them to finish the Archon Quests first and not level up the starting characters too much unless you like their gameplay for a better experience, exhaust the beginner's wish banner and I approve of spending 5 dollars per month to get the Welkin Moon which gives you 300 primogems plus 90 primogems every day you login (You lose your primogems if you have it active and don't login). Also be careful because this game is very addicting! Gambling wise and time-wasting wise.

Pay to play
U can play only 30 minutes for day without recharge resin or primo ... * RIP tryhards *
Amazing
Raiden Shoguns Second story quest was so emotional. There is lots to explore and plenty of events to play. Ayoto just dropped and he is pretty op compared to other hydro users in the game, his design is really cool and I can't forget about the boba tea that he always Carrie's around with him. Ayoto with his sister(Ayaka) make a good pair when fighting enemies)

very mixed
On the one hand, the story, i'd say is one of the most compelling narratives i've seen in a AAA game since like forever, the world, atmosphere, everything about the story (aside of some bad characters) is beautifully crafted, the characters look nice, the enemies feel at least "distinct" from each other.
However, the gameplay is the thing i have the most problems with, the resin system, and the grinding don't "match" the outstanding world the game has, you usually just grind a lot, and the process can be extremely tedious at moments, thankfully there is a teleportation/fast-transportation system, which is a welcome addition to the boring grinding.
It has a lot of potential, and in some aspects, it delivered, but others, it felt very generic.
Overall, i really want to love this game, but its gacha nature holds it from being any higher.

Just Okay
I Play the game for at least 20 hours now and i must say the concept is well, quite good. But i give mixed score because of this :
I know this is a shameless copy of BOTW but this isn't bad at all, the game has its own taste with the themes and identity.
I can't say the story is good or bad though but i really hope the story doesn't take too long to finish ( i say this because i play Honkai Impact 3rd and bored with the game because the story takes too long and no end in sight as of now and gameplay is too repetitive).
- Many say the graphic is good, and yes its good.... for a mobile game and not pc game standart (RDR 2 for me is still had the best graphic) and its not well optimized.
- The UI is too crowded for me and i understand this because this is a mobile game first and foremost
- PAIMON IS SO ANNOYING!!!
- The open world is really interesting to explore at first hour. Collecting chest, exploring dungeons, killing enemies, doing side stories, etc. But after a while, the world feels somewhat empty and the game become quite repetitive at long play (dunno if this true at later updates though)
- The stamina system is bad, almost everything you do cost a stamina (sprinting, climbing and gliding) and the weird part is all characters share the same stamina
- The Gacha system is meh... the rate is so low and to get better characters (or waifus) and weapons, gacha is a must because all obtainable weapons in the world are pretty bad. I rather pay $60 and all characters( or waifus) and weapons can be unlocked by progressing the game rather than spend $100 to get a single character (or waifu) and weapon
I know this is a shameless copy of BOTW but this isn't bad at all, the game has its own taste with the themes and identity.

A boring grind fest
If I had a dollar for every useless artifact I've ever got from grinding, I'd probably be able to buy a new tesla at this point. The game does nothing but time gate progress when you're barely able to make progress in the first place. I would rather pour a bottle of soda onto my eyes than play this game, because at the least, doing that would provide me with the mental stimulation that genshin doesn't provide. The only good part of this game is that feeling when you run out of resin after your daily 10 minutes of gameplay, because then you can be excited for the fact that you can log off and actually start doing something enjoyable.
Love Genshin. Genshin is my life

It must be TX Navy, porridge man ⛵, Dry 😤
Hello, everyone. I am a native of Liyue. My favorite food is Central Plains sundries, my favorite drink is Dahan potion, and my favorite dish is boiled cabbage without explosion. My most unforgettable character name is Zhizhi Nannan, because the names of these two children have beautiful meanings. What I like to study most is the 3700 year long history of Liyue. My favorite historical figure is Qiqi. It is said that the Qiqi corpse can live for many years.
My favorite place to travel is inami wife, where I can enjoy the unique cormorant fishing and fireworks of inami wife. I heard that the fireworks have been sold to Liyue. My favorite buildings are inami's kiss and castle. My favorite monsters are rice wife's Nine Tailed Fox and Tiangou. I don't know if Liyue has them. I like the art of rice wife most. Rice wife can play piano, chess, calligraphy, painting, flower arrangement and tea art. She wears a wide robe with large sleeves and a round collar. We have been wearing centipede buttons since 3700 years ago. I like that rice wife's armor of fantou is full, and every ronin and warrior can't move in the wind for two meters. Rice wife and many sects use plum blossom stakes. I met a wanderer of a martial family. His family story taught me that the past should not be borne by future generations, and that we should learn to put aside the past.
My favorite God is Mr. Zhongli. Lord Yan led the five night forks in ancient times. My favorite weapon is Lord Yan's Guan Hong's shield. I like the business atmosphere of Liyue most. The northern country has a concession in Liyue. Seven Star Tianquan is a big businessman in power in Hong Kong. She leads the country with tremendous capital and leads us to prosperity. I feel extremely proud and happy!!
(I met a lot of strange people. There was a TIMI in mengde who kept pigeons every day. Mengde often came to a rice wife merchant named Liben. Many people in Liyue like to call him father. In Liyue, I also met a guard named Zhenxiang. In rice wife, I also met the rat house owner a mu and a dog named phantom dog.
Recently, I met a young man named kulosh in Xumi. Every day, he said that he had no future.

More pain less gain
AR 60. This game is good, but the devs are not.
Voice acting: 5/5 Story: 4/5 Graphics: 4/5 User Interface: 2/5 Coop: 2/5 Support: 1/5 Worth money: 1/5
If you want to make fun with this game and not repeat my mistakes then I have 3 advices for you:
1) Play slowly. Skip some events. Don't rush to get all the primogems. They're never enough.
2) If you want to pull some character make 100% sure that you don't regret it. Take in considiration numbers AND waifu factor AND your playstyle. In this game you can spend a lot of money for nothing even if a character or weapon has good reviews.
3) Try to focus on the game's strengths. Don't expect this game to be a masterpiece.
HoYoverse give a lot of effort in making money but ignore players requests and don't fix game flaws for years. Don't let devs' avarice break your fun.

Played it for a while, never again
One of the worst games I have ever played game-play wise. It exploits the use of micro transactions to get characters, and even then you have a low chance of getting a character. The combat is repetitive, with not much variety in each of the different characters. Other than that it looks astonishing. The visuals are amazing. The story telling is okay (at least around the start of the game). It gets better the game goes on. The developers do update the game often which is a huge plus. It does seem like a game that I would enjoy with the open world aspect, but the boring game-play makes me disappointed.
