On Wednesday, 19th May 2021, BBC Three announced that it has commissioned Twenty Six 03 Entertainment to produce an 8-episode third series of the observational documentary programme. Filming on series 3 is scheduled to commence in June 2021. Series 3 will first be made available via BBC iPlayer as a boxset of all 8 episodes later this year. Series three will see the programme expand to cover the stories of other thriving local businesses that have a connection to the Longlox salon - including Pure Ink Studios tattoo parlours run by Sammyjo Pearson's friend Shane Gutteridge and Bilton Hall ABC Boxing club in Jarrow, where one of the young boxers is the boyfriend of hair extensionist Kallie.

Post COVID-19

Shows the joy and risk of independant salons and how much branding and promotion is needed in a competitive business. The banter and information exchange hasn't extended to hand washing after touching face/face masks though. Hopefully they will reassure viewers that they understand why hand washing before and after fitting their masks is important.
