More Interesting boss fights and more gameplay, you could also play as the villains so it's twice as many stages as the second one.

Wow! This game is excellent. I own every Lego video game so far, but none of them are as good as Lego Batman. I own it on the Wii, but it's also available on XBOX360, PS2, PS3, PC, and Nintendo DS.
Here's a quick review broken down in 3 parts: Story, Presentation (graphics and sound), and Gameplay.
Story: This game is not movie based, it is an original story taking place in the Batman universe (possibly the 1992 animated universe), all of Batman's greatest enemies have escaped from Arkham Insane Asylum to run Gotham City into the ground and destroy Batman, Robin, Nightwing, Batgirl, and Commissioner Gordon. The villains include Joker, Riddler, Penguin, Two-Face, Catwoman, and Harley Quinn. The 15 villains have split up into 3 groups with 5 villains each.
Presentation: The graphics are pretty good, but they are about the same as Lego Indiana Jones which also came out in 2008.
The music is brilliant! It uses the Danny Elfman musical score from the Tim Burton Batman films of the early 90s as well as the score of the 1992 Batman Animated Series. Even though the music is not original, it is still great to listen to.
The voice overs are practically non-existent because all that is used are grunts, yells, shouts, etc... But that doesn't really matter because it's easy to figure out what's going on.
Gameplay: The game itself is very fun. There are 30 levels in total (totaling more than the previous 18 level Lego games) and you play 15 levels as the heroes and 15 as the villains. Level layout is a bit linear, but it is a simple and fun game (although it is hard to get full 100% and beat the game entirely, I have done it and it took me a couple of months!). Controls are easy and well responsive on any console.
Overall, this game is perfect to give to a Batman fan of ANY AGE (and is definitely the best Lego game ever) and is also the second best Batman game ever (Batman: Arkham Asylum is the best one).
Also, keep your eyes open for subtle Batman movie references within the game. There are many to be found!

I love this game, I played it long ago, and now replaying it, it is very enjoyable and is my 2nd favourite lego game, beaten by Lego Star Wars: The Complete Saga. Thats really all I wanted to say, this was a very fun revisit.
This is the best lego game out there and you need to play it. it has great level designs and unforgettable moments. i also highly recommend 2 and 3, but this is the best one

Lego Batman: The Videogame is my personal favorite Lego game. It contains a ton of stuff that stay true to the story of Batman. And all three segments are told very well. The graphics still hold up to this day, especially when we see the environment of Gotham City. Even the gameplay given us all the time to complete the game in 100% with not just requirements to unlock a certain item in the items shop, but also how the player would feel they're in the Batman world. And then here's a really cool part. Not only you can play the story by heroes. After you complete them, you get to play as the villains. And that follows up the hero story modes. Overall, this is my personal favorite Lego game and holds up more than a decade later.

Lego Batman is very fun and very awesome! Lego Batman is the perfect videogame for children and is still fun even for adults. The gameplay is very fun with all the different characters and gadgets; plus you have the ability to play either by yourself or with another family member or friend. The attention to detail they put into all the different places you can go in Gotham City looks great. The music fit perfectly with the story, and there was a bunch of funny scenes throughout the game. Therefore, without doubt I strongly recommend Lego Batman because it's so just another very awesome videogame that's perfect for children and adults. Have a great day, and goooo Lego Batman!

"Lego Batman: The Videogame" is a game that brilliantly captures the essence of the Batman universe in a playful and accessible way. Developed by TT Games, the game combines classic Lego gameplay with elements characteristic of Batman. Players explore The Part Of the Gotham City in The levels, solve puzzles and battle enemies, while controlling both iconic heroes and villains, all built from Lego bricks. The simplicity of the game, combined with the humor typical of Lego games, makes it accessible to all ages. The variety of playable characters, each with unique abilities, adds depth to the gameplay. The narrative, although not innovative, is engaging and maintains a relaxed spirit. Visually, the game is colorful and well designed, with Lego elements creatively integrated. The soundtrack, memorable and complements the game's light atmosphere. In short, "Lego Batman: The Videogame" is a fun and captivating experience, offering a unique take on the world of the Dark Knight. Considering its purpose as a family game, it deserves a solid 8/10.
