This show seems to be a retelling of the show "A Haunting" all the interviewees are actors and all names and places seem to be changed.
Real persons who witnessed the paranormal events---which are reenacted by look-alike actors---all sound alike. Men and women, all tell a story to a crew person sitting off-camera, but the people all speak in the same monotone lilt and drone speech pattern, as if they were reciting learned lines, instead of retelling a story, spontaneously and from their heart, or memory banks. This is particularly the case with the older men in the first three episodes: they are all soft-spoken, unemotional and mechanical. At times, they break into restrained emotion in the same fashion, bringing into question the veracity of the accounts. The names and locations are probably changed. "to protect the privacy of all parties concerned" and, so, their stories cannot be verified. Scant alleged "archival footage" is provided.
Another Travel Channel production which appears to have gone by the wayside. Travel Channel plays musical slots with its TV series such as has been the case with Mysteries at the Museum and Beyond the Unknown, making them hard to find, all in favor of ghost hunting "shows". The Travel Channel never puts out a statement when a particular series is in hiatus. Without announcing it, viewers find that its allotted timeslot no longer airs the series they were following and, even when on hiatus, no statement is made as to when a particular TC series returns. Eventually, such programs sadly end up cancelled. Such move and hiatus appears to be the case here, as of September 2020.
