Beautifully shot and directed. Very emotionally drawing. Low budget, shotty, and lazy production design but the director and cinematographer preserver to tell an engaging story.

This movie is bland, predictable and mind numbing for the audience.
In this day and age with all the torment that a certain colour of people are receiving for lack of diversity. How is it possible for this film to have no diversity whatsoever with no backlash whatsoever.
I unfortunately paid to see this in the cinema as a friend wanted to watch it. Being open to all genres I gave it a go, and then realized what I thought it would be like is exactly what it turned out to be. Rudeboys and girls talking bad and acting too cool for school as if violence and shooting is something to be proud of. Movies like this should be banned.

From the beginning to the end of this film, I was fully engaged! I laughed, I cried, I was in it!! The storyline and message behind the movie was so captivating. From the daytime social to late night club scenes, it was beautifully captured. I would love to see the continuation of this film!

Energy pulses through the screen. Letia Solomon's directorial vision comes alive from the very first moment of this film. A must watch!

What captured me most about this short was how beautifully it was shot, the colors that were chosen to represent the emotion in each scene was thoughtfully crafted and lended to the overall feel of the film. The storyline was captivating and made you feel like you were right there with Khalil. Overall, really great movie!

This film executes a combination of culturally realistic rap battle writing, nuanced protagonist conflict involving real world social inequities, and a story plot line that, once the conflict is revealed, keeps viewers' on high alert hoping the protagonist prevails! Winning combo!

The feeling about a monifesto. Not against homophobia but for family and freedom. Not last, for courage to be yourself , accepting what defines you.
A young rapper has the privilege to win in contest. The second level represents the confrontation with tough guy of genre . The basic supporters of young artist - his sister and his boyfriend. But when the relation between the two men is revealed by consacrated rapper , part for mistake of sister of rival, part as the result of enthusiasm of young man, all seems at end for young competitor. Or, not exactly.
Sure, his speech seems naif, childish and far to impress. But it has one virtue - it is honest and reminds the need to escape by shame to be yourself.
So, nice film.
