The entire movie was a major mistake.
This is set in January 1945 Germany. However, on the back of the DVD case there is an American AT-6 painted to resemble a Japanese Zero fighter and a Japanese B5N 'Kate' torpedo-bomber complete with a torpedo slung underneath.
