At one point the film was considered for a theatrical release, but due to the lockdown and a great deal from Disney, Producers opted for a digital release.

Dheeraj Rattan, famous Punjabi story and screenplay writer, originally planned the film to be made in Punjabi. But later decided to make the project in Hindi.
