In one scene a Nazi officer tells Polanski's mother isn't a Jew because in her maternal lineage her mother and grandmother were not Jewish. The maternal lineage is used in Jewish law. The Nazi laws on how to classify someone a Jewish were different from the Jewish law.
In the movie Anton LaVey is hired originally as a technical advisor for "Rosemary's Baby". However this was just a claim and it was not true. Neither Anton Szandor LaVey nor his "Church of Satan" were involved with this movie.
When the Nazi searches the flat of Polanski's parents for jewelry and fur he is also grabbing the father's wedding ring. However it was allowed for Jews to keep their wedding ring, as long as it was a simple one.
