Up-and-coming singer Juli is about to leap to the top. She touches people with a song about her dead father. Only she knows, however, that nothing about her loving tribute is true. Her father died for July because he abandoned her and her mother. However, he is alive and has been trying to get in touch with his daughter for years without success. Juli, who blames him for her mother's death, never wants to see him again. However, she now needs his help: Shortly before her big tour, the singer learns that her secret kidney disease has drastically worsened. Only one person can be considered for the vital organ donation: her father Wim. At the urging of her doctor Mateusz, Juli gets in touch with him. Neither her abusive manager Tine nor the press is allowed to find out about it. But that's not easy, because Wim isn't just anyone, he's a living rock legend. He sets one condition for his help: Juli must finally face her painful father-daughter story. She soon realizes how very old disappointments still hurt. But Juli also feels that Wim is still closer to her than she would like to admit.
