A good series that gives us an in depth look at the events of 26/11.
Felt like Arjun Bijlani overacted.
Story was engaging and the terrorists played an okay role.
They tried really hard to make it a good series but there was still some bad acting.
Gave them an extra star for their effort.

I don't know why this web series is so under rated. Though this series doesn't do justice to the NSG's bravery but it's a good try.
State of Siege 26/11 documents what happened in 2008 and celebrates the valour of the men in uniform. Based on Sandeep Unnithan's book Black Tornado: The Three Sieges of Mumbai 26/11, the show tries to give a detailed account of what happened during the operation and how our security forces succeeded in saving several lives despite faulty equipment and lack of funds.
As the author of the book, Sandeep Unnithan admits the show takes some creative liberties in order to make it more engaging for the viewers. But, it doesn't deviate much from the book. It doesn't over-dramatise the terror attacks to factor in the patriotism quotient and focuses on the characters without making heroes out of them, even though they are so in real life.

State of Siege 26/11 will remind you of all the documentaries, films and shows based on the Mumbai terror attacks, but what is unique about this show is that it narrates the story from the perspective of the NSG.
The show, with eight episodes of around 35 minutes each, begins with the politics of sanctioning budget for NSG, who are struggling with funds and dealing with rationing of weapons and ammunition.....

While the concept is engaging, it completely misses on good acting and execution. There is no feel to the scenes be it when there are killing happening or those patriotic scenes.
Technically, Dialogues are way too simplistic, acting is average and props like guns, beard etc. look fake from a mile.
NSG casting was average and was not represented correctly like their uniform, Their hair could have definitely been shorter
I think this a low budget series hence gets impacted on technicalities.

Every character in the series played their rol so beautifully and naturally. Arjun Bijlani's role is best suited to him as a commissioner. Vivek dahiya also played his role too good. The series plots the story of the mumbai terror attack at Taj Hotel. The script writer and director of the series showed it in a very natural style.

Another masala mixture. This was one of the biggest global incident or attack in India. We had multiple movies who had tried to bring various elements. This is one of the first series on this incident (not sure if there are any other ones ), however turned out to be like another Bollywood masala. Saw a documentary long back on this incident in youtube which is far much better than this series. The new media scenes were unnecessary and more focus should have been given to the actual story.
Its an incredible and interesting series which had been never seen before. I glad to see this series.

State Of Siege :26/11 Web series is centered around the 2008 Mumbai terror attacks. The series is binge worthy by all means and is tense, thrilling and Tantalising throughout the very end, from the third episode onwards. State of Siege: 26/11 perhaps contains some of the best ever action sequences, that is shot for and made in India, in its motion picture history till date. Though the series has some minor flaws and short comings, it is a terrific watch, when we sum up things considering the budget.
State of Siege: 26/11 rides on its strengths and the first one is its cinematography, especially for its terrific action scenes. Screenplay is very well adapted and does not deviate one bit from the event, as I have read multiple books on the subject I can vouch you for that. Production design was in fact very good considering the budget so was the costumes for the commandos. But make up was slightly overdone for the actors. Music was a totally mixed bag as some scenes were totally outstanding and some totally garish to my liking. Editing was precise and crisp.
Casting and acting were mainly based and done by B-list actors, but to be frank they have tried their level best honestly, with some excellent & strong performances among several cheesy ones, had some proper actors been casted for, State of Siege: 26/11 would have been a totally different presentation altogether.
Overall, A must watch series for all Indians who lived through and followed the cowardly attacks in 2008. Full credit to director Abhimanyu Singh for his treatment and presentation of state of siege 26/11, considering the shoe string budget. Highly Recommended for all action movies fans living in India and abroad, State of Siege: 26/11 contains the best ever action choreography ever made for the Indian screen by a mile. For a better viewing experience watch episodes 4 to episode 7 together. 7.4 stars out of 10 for this must watch web series.

Show takes it peak from Episode 5. Episode 1-4 is just politics and pushing propoganda. Real story starts from episode 5.

American director Matthew Leutwyler tells us the story of brave National Security Guard (NSG) commandos who played a very big role in bringing down the terrorists who attacked Mumbai on November 26, 2008. We have seen many films or documentaries on the 26/11 attacks, however, State of Seige still a brilliant representation of the events and you will know as you read further.

This web series is wonderful. Each and every episodes seems to be so natural. The series focuses largely on the cruelty, brutality and coldblooded killings. All characters are wonderful.

26/11 is a dark spot on our history & it will continue to be so till Pakistan continues to exist on the world map.
A good effort but a lot of characters were not in sync. Even someone as great as Vikram Gokhale looked unconvincing as the PM. It's sad that the viewers have to see some of the faces in every alternate web series. Getting redundant.

Full of action and thriller , rightly exposed the role of media in sensalizing the national threat responsible for killin of many people and soldiers. Media helped terrorists. The acting is very good but the audio is mix of different languages without subtitles. One need to be very good in different languages and slangs to understand and grasp every dialogue. Otherwise it's just guess work for what the actors are saying.

I just love this movie.. it's perfect from all sides. It has all the detailing about 26/11 and it's very much saddening too. this deserves better recognition
Positives:
Good story, screenplay,
Disappointments: Acting of lead characters, specially from forces Poor dialogue writing & specially delivery NSG fails to create that aura or impact Series fails to maintain its intensity NSG commandos fail to deliver their speech with steam, very artificial dull looking unit. Could have been more intense & powerful.

NSG Actions are showing very poorly. Also unnecessary showing story of Kasab background. Start is very slow & u have patience otherwise u can't watch further
The series was inspired from the book book black tornado by teotia..it shows the details of the hard times from a different perspective..and the buzz on media and the developing terrorist characters from the initial days does put a different flavor..also shows the unspoken realities not at all desired like the state police lack proper weapons..and how bad things were.Overall you will love how it ends..a kind of emotional rollercoaster ride..
