Amazon Prime and Dharma Productions have announced the new release date of their upcoming film starring Vicky Kaushal, Ammy Virk and Triptii Dimri. The film, which is yet to be titled, will hit the cinemas on 23 Feb 2024. The film is directed by Anand Tiwari, who has previously helmed the web series Bandish Bandits and the film Love Per Square Foot.
The film is said to be a romantic comedy set in the backdrop of a wedding. Vicky Kaushal will play the role of a wedding planner, while Ammy Virk and Triptii Dimri will play the bride and groom. The film will also feature Rajpal Yadav, Rajesh Sharma and Manoj Joshi in supporting roles.
The film was initially slated to release on 9 Sep 2023, but was postponed due to the Covid-19 pandemic and the subsequent lockdowns. The makers decided to wait for the theatres to reopen and give the film a big-screen experience.
