Always a Sword: A Sword & Sorcery Adventure

Imagine yourself going to a fine gourmet restaurant... and watching other people eat.

That summarizes this show. What we have here is a bunch of gamers sitting around a table uh... gaming. You can see the same thing at any sci/fan/anime convention. You ever gone to a convention and just stood around a gaming table watching other people game? If not, there's probably a good reason why: it's boring.

Those deeply into pencil & dice role playing might take interest in this simply because they can see how a good game master and quality players engage in role play. I can't say for sure, because I couldn't even make it all the way through episode 1.

I might recommend this as a good cure for insomnia. It's probably great for people who think watching a game of golf is exciting (only golf has more action). For a certainty, viewer would be better off turning this show off... and inviting some friends over to enjoy an actual role playing game. Instead of going to a restaurant and watching other people eat... enjoy the food yourself.
