This movie obviously is quite good after i finished it. The plot is simple and fast, and cute with its humor elements . The main character brings the emotion out successfully to the audiences. Basically, this is a good movie. However, some scenes of the movie is quite vague for me. It didn't gave enough explanations for audience to understand. Although this is quite pity for me, it still a movie that makes people happy and relax.
It's not a bad movie, but it's pretty generic and forgettable; the plot is passable and the actors are not charismatic; Italians are capable of making better films.

Quirky Italian romance movie from Alice Filippi used simple approach and delicate cinematography to make it easy to watch. If you can accept some cringeworthy ideas about girl-stalks-boy, you'll appreciate Francesconi's charismatic and sweet presence here.

Being self aware and showing that every other turn you make ... well that can get annoying too. It is a fine line the movie walks, when it tells us that it isn't a movie because ... well I reckon it tries to sell you reality. Not hating on the idea and overall I'd say it does a good job with that. That beginning is a bit much though - at least for my taste.
After that it gives in to the "ugly duckling" metaphor - or whatever else you feel applies that is similar. I had this on my watchlist and saw that a sequel popped up, so I thought, oh good that I waited, now I watch both movies. Unfortunately there seems to be another one coming, which I have to rate whenever that comes out. Let's just say that the second one takes away quite a bit of what happens here. It almost entirely makes the whole drama feel like ... it was fake.
Yes I know this is a movie, but remember what I wrote before? There we go. Anyway, this is a fun romantic ride with a couple of neat twists ... suspend your disbelief and just go with it.

This was one of the most ridiculous premises that I have come across in awhile. I kind of missed all of the illness based romances that were so popular for a time, with the exception of Fault in Our Stars (which was decent).
This is the story of Marta, an orphaned ugly duckling who never became a swam and is most likely going to die young because she has Cystic Fibrosis (which I knew as a medical professional even though they never specifically called it that in the film). Marta is very goal driven and is always making to do lists for her and her two best friends (Frederica and Jacopo) who live with her in the city home she inherited from her deceased parents.
Marta, Frederica and Jacopo are very colorful and quirky characters, but they are very close friends who all accompany Marta to her many doctor appointments and treatments. Marta decides she wants to date a hot guy and she sets her target on Arturo. She then proceeds to stalk him both in person and via cyber channels.
When Marta is caught by Arturo he asks what she wants to leave him alone...she says one dinner and he agrees. Only it ends up being dinner with his rich parents during which Marta is brutally honest and ends up walking out. Feeling bad, Arturo asks her out on a real date during which he plays the question game with Marta...five questions nothing but the truth.
By the end of the date, Arturo is charmed and the two start dating in earnest...only Marta doesn't tell Arturo about her illness which puts her at risk.
Completely unbelievable but surprisingly colorful and charming. I ended up liking this film in spite of my preconceived prejudices.
Loved hearing the Italian, which I think is the most beautiful language in the world and I have appreciated quirky characters since Amelie...so this is a soft recommendation from me, but definitely for a certain audience.
I didn't know at the time I watched this film that it was part of a trilogy, but this is the first of three films with Marta and her two best friends.

This movie pleasantly surprised me. I was expecting it to be super cringey, in the same vein as "My Name Is Doris", but it ended up being sweet, actually. While I was hoping for more of a buildup as to why they enjoy each other's company, the fact that the movie was otherwise complete made up for it. Also, totally didn't expect to shed as many tears as I did. While it's not as rewatch worthy as "When Harry Met Sally", I'd still rewatch it one or two more times.

And so I gave it a shot! Lol and I loved it, every second of it, I enjoyed it from start to finish! The thing did not let me go nor would I had made any alterations! I thought it to be a seminal work of art tour de force! I loved it I watched it with the English British subs and it was nice , real nice! The main girl character was something I have never seen before , she was just out of this world! I am going to see something else from one of the writers cause I think their was a lot magic underneath the incredible talented thespians and pretty pictures. This was simply thoughtful and kind, adorable and sweet , a real gem, I highly recommend it! Netflix really just pops up so many different things after a viewing , it makes no sense how they pick and choose , its so random and arbitrary but sometimes I just have to marvel at how wonderful it is to be a part of these times! Super super sweet thank-you! (I wanted to add that sometimes , sometimes I guess one thing I learnt from this flix, is that sometimes if you're lucky stalking really does work, esp if you are a super cute cheeky lil' Italian girl with a lot of Moxie! Super cute!)

So much of the main characters adorable personality is lost in the English dubbing the trailer was enough to put me off. In the original Italian she has so much more appeal and this brilliant actress deserves that. She may be impulsive, crossing boundaries, but she is someone given a short time and is desperate to experience as much life as possible. Anyone who cannot get passed that well, you probably wouldn't be a Pedro Almodóvar fan either cause his movies are what I'd compare this too, if not a little more straight forward.
I gave this a 9 only because they could done with out the brief nudity part. That said, I loved it. Very touching and heart warming. The movie was well done.

Ludovica Is so beautiful and charming, much more of a true beauty than fake Hollywood actresses like Julia Roberts and Jennifer Aniston. Gaja is like a much more beautiful, non-anorexic Ariana Grande. If you enjoyed "She's Out Of My League", you might very much enjoy this movie as well.
Brilliant Italian film ... best I've seen in years. Great acting and beautiful to listen to AND look at .The visual aspects of the film like the scenery in central Turin and it's wonderful architecture and the stout of the clothes & wardrobe are exceptional. Quirky, endearing & light-hearted. The main character , Marta is excellently played as are her two friends from childhood.
It is also refreshing to see an Italian film shot in and around some of Turin's most iconic buildings and settings. The rapport between the characters is warm & affectionate , laced with humour and charisma. I would reccomend this film.
