As far as 'short films' are concerned, it has been established time and again that innovative ideas are required to make a good as well as a successful short film with potential to reap financial rewards and the ability to charm audiences. If one has a good idea, other artistic requirements would be sorted out in an automatic manner. Carlo Ledesma's "The Haircut" has been made with a minuscule budget of 6000 Australian dollars but it has a lot to offer to viewers as it incites them to laugh endlessly. By making judicious use of two actors namely a barber and his customer, this short film is able to teach many things about the erratic notion of customer service. One discovers how the customer is still worshipped as a king as his wishes are fulfilled at all costs."The Haircut" is also an intelligent film whose message can be applied in daily lives of viewers as it portrays how an intelligent person can effectively deal with an immature, unreasonable person ?
