The "Promised Neverland" saga has the orphans as children, but for this adaptation their ages were raised to teenage levels.
Based on manga series "Yakusoku no Neverland" written by Kaiu Shirai and illustrated by Posuka Demizu (published from August 1, 2016 to June 15, 2020 in manga magazine Weekly Shonen Jump).
Four different locations across Japan were used for filming Grace Field House. One for the interior of the house, one for the exterior of the house, one for the field, and one for the forest.
