This may be a short film but it's anything but small. An atmospheric film set in an unknown time it's up to you when you want it to be is wonderfully shot by Daniel Boocock.
Costumes & locations are wonderful this man has talent and look forward to seeing a longer film by him.

When I first came across this short and it's trailer something unique about it caught my attention regardless of the obvious visual flair and style. It is very cinematic in an expansive way but also up close and personal as certain conflicts are slowly unearthed between the characters.
After watching it I was left thinking about it for some time. The atmosphere and direction which runs throughout the film leaves a mighty impression. It is left open to interpretation but for me this is what makes it great. You don't see something like this at all in shorts. It is a mighty attempt which isn't too far off the epic type of large scale budget projects you see in film & tv. Well done. Fantastic piece of work.
I have actually watched it several times and enjoyed it even more.

The Neolith takes you right in the mix of basic fight or flight instincts that we have some how lost in today's society. Shot in a very dramatic landscape, the producer and director Daniel Boocock has been able to draw the viewer in with the dramatic beauty and a script of very few words. The film hits the right note mostly with body language and great camera work.
I look forward to seeing more from this Director and I'm sure he can produce even better

Impressive short film, from locations to construction of story. Beautiful landscapes, fair portrait of dominance of instinct, symbols, splendid cinematography, great atmosphere.
Four men from nowhere on a land. They kill a woman and her children.
They walk for destroy and intimidate. More than invadors, they are image of poor evil.
But one of them is different. The yonger, the one who did not accept be the savage. And his answer against his mates can not other than a profound radical one.
Few great scenes , inspired sounds of voices, the inspired end.
A film who has all premises to be feeled as an authentic masterpiece. Not for artistic virtues , only, but for way to remind essential truths.
